C2 manual for eReaders (ePub & Mobi)

Hi, I bought a Kindle a week ago and I tought it would be great to have C2 manual in it, so I started to convert it.

I've made it in ePub format and then converted to Mobi with Calibre.

It has the same formatting as in webpage (hyperlinks, font style...) and a full Table of Contents plus some tutorials and some useful official's blog entries.

How did you even download the manual in the first place? I get a 'coming soon' message when I click free download. I'm going to try to convert your epub version to pdf.

EDIT : The conversion was bad. No links, no ToC... any chance to make a pdf version? :)

I didn't download it. I just copy plain text of each page to the ePub and added formatting tags and links one by one.

I don't know how to convert it to PDF with hyperlinks and TOC, but there is a PDF version in this post:

In case you want to read the manual on PC there is some ePub readers, like Adobe Digital Editions and plugins for Firefox like EPUBReader.

Take it as an alternative to the Adobe DE, because I think Adobe's reader looks better.

An e-book reader that I highly recommend is Calibre - it's free, open-source, and can convert ePub to a large number of other file types (although the PDF conversion is not spectacular, otherwise I would have posted a conversion as well).

Thanks for the update. The .mobi version is perfect. I can read it in my Kindle browser, it has a table of contents, and I can make note on it, search within it, and even highlight areas. How cool is that???

Or you could have read the manual thread (or the third post of this very topic too) and saw that there was already a proposed PDF version.

Well, now I feel kinda stupid. I just went ahead and created a version of the manual for eReaders and see you've already done it. Oh well. The only difference is mine retains the original formatting. If anyone's interested, I can post them.
