    This is unlikely to be related to C2 or this section would be inundated with reports.

    Have you recently had a GPU, AV or OS update?

    What is your system setup - OS/GPU?

    What AV do you use?

    If you reinstall r227 Stable does it still crash?

  • 230 version has been installed on a clean system on a new computer and updated to version 231. I have not had time to find out whether there was a workable version of the 230.

    The operating system with all the necessary updates.

    What you say makes sense. Try using the stable version.

    I am surprised. Windows XP worked with beta versions, and now this unexpected problem.

    The stable version of 227 does not work.

  • Install the latest video card driver. Now, I can press the Home, View and Event, but when you click the File program crashes. And Windows has started to turn off Desktop Window Manager. ))

  • That error code (0xC000041D) is identified as a STATUS_FATAL_USER_CALLBACK_EXCEPTION.

    Analyse the dump file could be usefull in order to prevent and/or fix the error

    I do not know how to do that.

    Another mistake, which I receive regularly after installing the drivers, complains about the Nvwgf2umx.dll

  • It sounds like your computer has some issues...

    Open command prompt as administrator, (Start -> run -> cmd) then type in: sfc /scannow

    This will check Windows for any system file violations and (hopefully) correct them.

    You may also want to check for viruses/malware using some *good* scanner tools (not your normal anti-virus software which is 99% useless 100% of the time). I recommend Googling for "JRT" and "Adwcleaner" (both found on website) and run those two programs through your machine.

    When my programs crash in a similar way, I install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (google it), or .NET Framework 4.5, and my problems are fixed most of the time.

    By the way, are you russian? Im bulgarian, and I understand most of the russian language

  • [quote:27khfocb]Open command prompt as administrator, (Start -> run -> cmd) then type in: sfc /scannow

    I'll try in the morning.

    [quote:27khfocb]You may also want to check for viruses/malware

    This clear system on a new computer, but I checked. Nothing extra is not found.

    [quote:27khfocb] I install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (google it), or .NET Framework 4.5

    And here it is interesting.

    .NET Framework 4.5.1 - have

    Microsoft Visual C ++ 2010 - no

    Microsoft Visual C ++ 2008 - have

    Microsoft Visual C ++ 2013 (x64) - have

    Microsoft Visual C ++ 2013 (x86) - have

    Maybe something must be removed

    [quote:27khfocb]By the way, are you russian?

    Yes. I am Russian.

    After you try sfc /scannow, and if it doesnt work, start your computer in safe mode.

    (there are tutorials on how to do it)

    If in safe mode Construct still crashes, you need to reinstall Windows and try if Construct will work after that.

    (I think you wont do that, but just saying)

    64 bit systems have some problems which 32 bit systems dont.

  • sfc / scannow did not reveal violations.

    Microsoft Visual C ++ 2010 - have did not help

    I am looking for other solutions. Try again to reinstall the drivers are different and work in safe mode.

    [quote:rhu2b0xv]?????? )

    ??????

    If Windows puts me in such conditions, I take offense. If no new hardware, and would work on Windows XP SP3 without problems. You may have to install the 32 bit systems.

    Or put a virtual machine only for work in the Construct 2 until the correct all problems.

  • This is almost always a graphics driver bug. The fact the problem changed when you updated your driver strongly suggests this is the case.

    Sadly the latest available drivers can still be so buggy that it breaks Construct 2. There is not much you can do other than complain to your graphics card vendor. The problem is in the driver, not Construct 2.

  • I was able to defeat the problem. Once today occurred to choose to install construct 2 for 32 bit Windows. No problems at all, the program works like a Swiss knife.

    Start the program for 64-bit Windows in Windows 7 (x64) and failed. And it is not necessary.
