  • Problem Description

I cannot export to Node-Webkit with minimify script enabled.

    • Enable Minimify script
    • Click on Export
    • Check all Node-Webkit options

    Observed Result

    The export fails

    Expected Result

    The export to Node-Webkit

    Operating System and Service Pack

    Windows 8.1 x64

    Construct 2 Version ID

    Steam r184 64-bit

    Screenshots

But it's not. When I click Open Destination folder, I see this:

  • I have almost the same issue.

My problem is that when I try to export a C2 project to HTML5 with the minify script option it gives me this error message:

"Error during export: Cannot open file

    'pathtoexportfolder\c2runtime_min.js'"

(pathtoexportfolder shows a normal path, witch I didn't want to type in for security reasons - It only contains letters and numbers, and it points to an avaiable drive)

The interesting part comes in, when I try to export on my notebook, with has the same OS and software installed (even the versions are identical) and it works on that machine.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I got this fixed. I just had to reinstall Java.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try ASAP!

EDIT: Reinstalling Java in 64 bits did not resolve the issue, but installing the 32 bits version did the trick!

  • Closing, we fixed Java 8 support in the next build.
