How do I duplicate a sprite

While creating the layout, is there an easy way to duplicate a sprite? I want a new version of the same sprite, not a clone or instance.

What do you mean with 'new version'?

If you don't want to change texture or behaviors you can just hold Ctrl and drag the sprite away you have a copy and if you add a behavior on the second sprite the first sprite has this behavior, too.

If want to have another but want edit him a bit without editing the first sprite right click and hit "clone "
