• That would be possible to implement, as I said before as long as BabylonJS comes with a function, this plugin will implement it. It justs takes a lot of time and effort to import all functions to Construct 2.

yes i understand the implementation process, i was just asking if its something you wold consider to add in future development of the plugin. Cause id buy it only to wait for that, the rest i kinda got used with Q3D. but im always open to more new ways to do 3d on C2 never ruined anyway for something to have competition, it actually bring'd success to one of the parts, in rare cases both sides.

i cant wait to test it out, let me know when its approved in stores

  • Can you show us an example of working armature+mesh animation

  • Try Construct 3

  • Great job X3M, already v0.2 can i ask how far wold this be developed, after the v1.00? what is the target? i want to buy it in advance! cause im very pleased with it even if its early development ATM!

  • V1.0 will hold all the necessary functions and should be bug free, it will be the base version. V2.0 will be a major update which will make it worth buying in advance.

Glad you liked it, feel free to suggest improvements or report bugs. Also, since you're my first client, I'll give you a fully functionnal 3D game capx as a gift.

That is what i wanted to know, if a VN.++++>V1.0 wold be developed later! that is awesome news!

i like that idea wold it be a "mesh distortion example?" like pottery modeling ?:D

    il check the blog later

  • I was looking some way to do 3D game o Pseudo3D, my idea is make some Doom/Wolfenstein3D.

Something like this made with Q3D:

    https://www.scirra.com/arcade/undergrou ... -hrju-2363

I tried various plugins/effects and none worked as expected, also i bought Q3D but seems very hard to use and understand and there are no much tutorials for beginners and i'm very lost, also seems the developers stopped the development .

So, i found your plugin but there is no demos to see what the plugin can do on real games(Only a human mesh and a car one). Will be great if you upload to test online the 4 demos of the templates you have. Also a Youtube video series showing how the plugin works will be nice. I saw you have a tutorials series in your website but only works the first one, i guess you're working on it .

You said you're not good as a modeler, but for a Doom/Wolf3d template you only need cubes with textures. Here you can find all the necesary sprites of wall, enemies, effects, guns,etc... to build a demo/template:

https://www.spriters-resource.com/pc_co ... enstein3d/ . And if you record/comment the process for a youtube tutorial video will be simply perfect , but even a text-tutorial will be nice.

When you say "1 year of free support" what exactly this means?

    Here you go : https://www.scirra.com/arcade/other-gam ... mo-3-12340

By 1 year of free support, I mean that I can help you if you're stuck when making a 3D game using my plugin, and also add functions to the plugin per request.

  • X3M

    Just played Demo 3

This i going to be so awesome!

  • Wow! looks great, and about the info and the demo you made at least this deserve a try so i bought it .

I'm going to test the plugin and see how works, i will post after my first impresions.

  • Thanks, I hope that the plugin will meet everyones expectations.

matriax Thank you for purchasing it, feel free to post any questions, feature requests or bug reports. My number 1 goal is to make the customers happy.

  • How this is a paid plugin i think better keep the bugs for email, and opinion, pre-buyers questions & updates here.

First impresions for BABYLON 3D - SCENE LOADER EDITION (0.2 version):

    Pros:

    -------------------------------

The plugins looks very profesional and all is very clear/organized with lots of options for events/conditions/expresions.

Set the camera control movement in one Event(Left/right/up/down) for a FPS, by default are arrow keys.

Overall feel of C2 workflow, i mean, the descriptions, each action,etc... easy to find/use/remember and learn, like an official C2 plugin.

    Cons:

    -------------------------------

The lack of tutorials/video-tutorials to learn how use the plugin properly.

(Edited: I added the requisite of a 3D editor to create scenes as a cons, but removed becasuse this is the "Scene Loader" edition, there will be a "Editor Edition" to create scenes in the C2 layout! :O )

    Conclusion:

    -------------------------------

Still i have to invest more hours/days but looks promissing. I can't wait to finish my actual game to start playing with this plugin and see the next updates .

    Suggestions

    -------------------------------

1.-Templates dedicated to every aspect of the scene(light, camera, meshes...) with real time sliders to know exactly how works, and not change&run, change&run... to know what and how works each property.

2.-Tutorials that how to set-up an entire scene with different lights, shadows, skycubes,etc....

3.-3D basic game tutorial/template made entirely in C2 without need of external 3D editors, a pong or arkanoid will be enough.

4.-Be capable of create scenes fully textured without any external editor.

Edit: Add the FPS demo you did to the plugin pls

  • Cons:

    -------------------------------

The worst thing is the requisite of external 3D editors to create the scene.

What do you prefer, making a 3D scene in a 3D environment , or imagining the scene in a 2D environment ?

Here is the early FPS demo:

Now isn't it easy to make a scene in a 3D editor and see exactly how it's going to look in your game ?

The lack of tutorials/video-tutorials to learn how use the plugin properly.

    Sir yes sir

    1. Thats on my To-do list

    2. Yes

    3. That can be done, but its harder than making the scene in a 3D editor.

4- If you wanna make serious 3D games, you gonna have to use one of the 3D editors. 3D games are not meant to be made in a 2D envorinnement.

    5. Gonna have to improve that FPS demo, then I'll link its capx and .max scene with the plugin update.

Hi Master X3M, personally i dont mind both of them, but if wold be possible and not hold you back to much, id love to see the 3d objects in 2d even if their only dots, or sprite boxes, as long as i know its a top/side view, we could design a scene in c2 as we want. puzzle like.

keep in mind, most of c2 users, do not understand complex software, even the ones, that are simple to me and you as 3ds max or blender, giving the ability to drag and drop a 3d model, place it somewhere on screen and knowing is there, will leave space for much faster work, however, having the scene loader as it is now, additionally to the 2d placement, its good.

so point made here from my point of view and experience with it so far, i wold not want changes for the way the plugin works as now, just if possible and is not to much hustle for you to implement, the imagining scene in a 2d environment is good to have in parallel.

P.S the FPS scene looks great, cant wait for it
