  • I do not mind paying for new C3 as long as the event system works the same so there's no whole re-learning thing. Importing old projects into new would be good but I do not need backward compatibility.

    This is if C3 exports into something that is better (and closer to machine) than HTML5.

    If it is still HTML5 just like now then I would prefer to see C2 still being worked on. If money is issue then maybe upgrade to 2.5 for a minor upgrade fee.

  • Haha, this one I had problems too the first day. (pretty much 1 year ago!) That THIN LINE! was my thought. Now I use other means to add sub event.

  • I prefer it when software honor system settings. As for now I have set C2 to environment I am ok with!

    As for the events it is possible to do inverted colors, dark background light foreground. I have done so. not black+white as it is too straining, I have chosen soft colors. Dark gray background and pastel colors foreground.

  • I tried again and my other gamepad with analog sticks (cheap brand) won't work at all none of 2 sticks. D-pad nor buttons, despite it works well in Firefox with my own game.

    Maybe it is something with chrome because it works in firefox with my own C2 game.

    The simpler (the one I prefer) game pad with D-pad works with the buttons only. (a Logitech model)

    Well, I will wait for proper release then. I hope I will not forget it.

    is it where you downloaded your software?

    If it is true, then maybe your computer could already be compromised and corrupted the downloaded file or something like that.

    If not, well, add it to learning experience that never ever go to official forum to ask for problems that happens on your pirated software. It is so embarrassing and insulting. But let's hope you did not do this.

  • I found your game on the main page itself and I love the concept! I have a generic Jamma cabinet at home so it hit a sweet spot for me! (yes it is an European model too, French to be specific (yes I do own Bubble bobble pcb among others)

    I wonder however, is it possible to use gamepad for the game (Coinop Story, not Bubble bobble ) I tried using my pad but only the buttons works?

    I am not too keen on using keyboard...

    Again, awesome idea!!!

  • The last couple days I have spent trying to draw animated fire enemy. I think I have made 5-6 different versions (most just being solid/outline stage) but never really happy with the result!

    Good one! ha! Realizing that driving around asteroids might not be the best idea.

    Making business with other deities maybe? Oh yes, for the Hindi ones I guess, the more limbs the merrier.

  • I attacked the enemy-dodging-the-icecream-drop bug with about 5 different approaches. I eventually figured it out, but it of course caused new bugs instead.. I think I have ironed them all out. New bug instead: the enemy explosion is not really happening exact where I want it to be. I think I have a few ideas on why it happens. Either bad "coding" (hopefully) or it is the new method. (hope not)
