  • If your not well versed with servers but want to run your own local web server, I recommend WAMP (windows apache mysql) very easy install, and has a mysql database to boot, suported by the latest php.

    If thats too much of a hassle, or you change computers a lot, then drop box is the way to go.

    It integratesw with windows, adding an extra folder in your my documents, which is a direct link to the online dropbox folder.

    So placing something online is as easy as just copy and pasting it to another one of your windows folders :)

  • Hi LittleStain :D

    Looks really nice !

    And you are totally right, so ... images (don't laugh hehe)

    After ten years, I sat their with some crayons wanting to do millions ... blank of thoughts hahaha

    so I asked my young daughter to name an animal and I will try and draw character from it .... she said giraffe

    <img src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7134196/scan1.jpg" border="0" />

    Thats my first hand drawn image in a long time hehe :D

    Tried a second after that to get some perspective going again

    <img src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7134196/scan2.jpg" border="0" />

    Followed by a load of scribbles to get the hang of curves again, which I will spare you haha

  • Hi,

    So, I bought some crayons yesterday, with intent on making some sprites based on them ....

    Once I drew lots and even applied for art school, but didnt pass as I didnt had enough old work.

    Recently with construct 2, I need my own models and resorted to doing tutorials in blender to make my own.

    One of them mentions having scetches of whatever and that those would be your base ...

    So now i find myself drawing lots of little scribbles just to get the hang of drawing again .... (been over 10 years)

    so, who of you draws, or found him/her self wanting to draw their own model works by hand to import them later as sketches for programs like blender?

  • You could have just asked me.. :P

    If you let me, I'll drive you nutts hehe

    I wouldnt mind if you did hehe, but, seeing as we already are ingaged with other plans, I didnt want to ask too much of you hehe.

    Also, this is a great way for perhaps some new designer to test and throw in some materials to see how it could be used :D

    Man, I resorted to buying crayons again yesterday, doing some tutorials in blender hehe, need models lol

  • Reminds me of this topic

    I so love this interaction, dunno why but, I keep trying to stay in the air whahaha

    I'ma goingto have to assimilate this technique :P

    Been toying around with a few variations of it, but this one with the physics is by far the best with a wide range of possible custimisation options, far easier then the others. :D

    Great stuff :)

  • I think you need to run your command console as administrator.

    Not sure though.

  • As littleStain says, global variables, they are project wide and if you need to use them in another eventsheet, you do not have to include the events sheet where the global variable is defined.

    If you want variables thats browser session independent, look for Webstorage.

  • Hello, I am looking for someone who has some 3d models and want to show it off or has some laying about, or is eager to try.

    What I am making is a 3d approach for construct 2.

    Thread: virtual attempt

    The current images are from the web, some free, some .. dunno ...

    The hands however, ... are mine, lol, litterally :P

    I would like a set of sprite shots, shot around 360 degrees from a character, first person view, preferbly something spooky with 8 angles.

    Even greater would be if that every angle has a small animation, this would require an animation from each angle.

    right now I have a spider with 4 angles, and each angle has a 4 sprites animation.

    I would like at least double, so 8 angles.

    As I reward your name in the credits ofc, and involved in the project and your own hand and input for graphics. And god forbids it makes money, i'll share :)

    Does this mean that i win?

    <img src="http://i.imgflip.com/51l5m.gif" border="0" />

    Also, sorry for breaking your game...

    sounds more like I'm less eligible to win rofl

    Or, tbh, it looks like a slick move by the computer player, seeing as you were on a winning streak.
