Is there any way to load BinaryData (DrawingCanvas image) to Dictionary and load it into a sprite?

To go a little deeper, is the value BinaryData.GetBase64? Not sure what format DrawingCanvas images are. For LocalStorage, you simply put the source as BinaryData with no BinaryData types.

Thanks for the explanation and help!

Also, the reason why I used AJAX is to copy the BinaryData into LocalStorage. If there isn't a better way to copy the data to localStorage to load into a Sprite later, I guess I'll keep the AJAX in my file.

Thanks Wacky. This works. Strange that I can't destroy the Render object after pasting. I have to change opacity to 0. If I destroy, nothing appears on the DrawingCanvas, even if I do "Wait for previous actions" after pasting.

Tried to paste sprite into DrawingCanvas, but it doesn't redraw the pixels for some reason:

Is it possible to save a DrawingCanvas and insert it back into the DrawingCanvas? I know it's possible to load the data into a sprite through either Save DrawingCanvas or Snapshot of screen.

Thanks so much for our help. It worked!

When I applied the actions to my project, it didn't work for me. I deleted all actions and pasted your actions in and made sure it was hooked up correctly, and it still didn't work. I ended up building my project back up through your file and all is good. You are very knowledgeable. Appreciate the support!

Repro steps are a little confusing:

- Preview project

- Click on some of the white boxes to go to the next layout

- Click on the top left black button to save the image to localStorage

- On the main gallery page, it should load each saved image that you previously entered.

dop2000 I think my loop is working somewhat, but I can't get the imageSaved sprite to be updated with each individual BinaryData.GetURL. It keeps updating all instance of sprites with the latest BinaryData.
e.g. All sprites are apples, all sprites change into oranges, all sprites change into bananas.
