  • Hi!

I'm happy to show you my (and my friend's) game made in Construct 2. It's called Square Eater:

    App Store: https://appsto.re/si/NYe88.i

    Google Play: http://bit.ly/1wKDiNT

    Website: http://square-eater.esy.es

You are a circle, moving with a joystick. You have to eat green squares and avoid red ones. There are also health squares that give you +1 life. Try to collect as many green squares as possible! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

    Features:

    • Amazing design
    • Gorgeous leaderboards
    • Great gameplay
    • Beautiful music

    Any feedback appreciated.

  • Our Crosswalk build servers are in the process of being updated from Java 6 to Java 7. Java 7 is needed by a few plugins, like Facebook and Google Play Games Services.

imaffett Do you know when will the servers be updated? When will those plugins work?

  • Hey, Pode

Is there any way to disable/hide that border around the iframe, so only content is seen (or to make the border white)?

  • iceangel How do you add Google Play (Leaderboards)? What do you do in C2 and what in XDK?

  • Hey,

I like your game. It's great

Only on leaderboards, some names are written more times.

And maybe that text in the middle (shows every now and then (x2, x25 ...) maybe sometimes covers the game ... And player can't see people for a few seconds ...

Anyway, your game is great. Keep up that great work

  • iceangel I have 64-bit Windows 8, but everytime I open XDK, Crash Reporter opens (and then everything crashes). Does google play work for you?

  • New update intel xdk

Intel XDK, as of December 18, 2014, is 1621

GP still doen't work for me. And every time I open XDK, Crash reporter opens first (XDK still works, but if I click Upload Log or Cancel, everything crashes). Already tried to re-install.

Love that idea...so simple! Though, it might break your game later on if you wanted to host it elsewhere, meaning you'd have to re-export it (and what if you lost your project file?). Maybe just some sort of warning or notification instead.

If you know (before exporting), where your game will be hosted (multiple URLs), you can do something like this (I've chosen 4 random URLs, they may not exist <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">):

Whilst I haven't tried this, here's a quick concept that'll redirect any stolen games and beat iframes, using Scirra's domain as an example.

I can't get the redirect to work in preview mode, but you could just as easily destroy groups of objects or make a pop up appear.

    Happy Constructing.

It works if you do like this:

Don't forget to add "On start of layout"! Otherwise it will just make lots of requests ... And your IP will be temporarily banned

  • Hi!

I'm doing a game for Android. And I want to add google play leaderboards (and achievements). I've already tried to do this with Google Play plugin, but the build fails with Crosswalk. If I build with Android (no crosswalk), the build is successfull, but when user tries to sign in, he gets an error. [attachment=0:3ro5ok5g][/attachment:3ro5ok5g] If I build with Cocoon JS (Ludei), I can't upload it to Google Play, because one file is Debug, another one is unsigned.

So, the question is: How do I add Google Play leaderboards and export to Android?

  • You can use Percentage text, Progress bar only (or with logo), or nothing. So, if you don't like that progress bar, set this property to Percentage text or Nothing.
