  • Wow good work i like it !

Hey, Thank you. hope you try it as a desktop wallpaper!

  • Greeting fellows constructer

This C3 project named Alive is a living/Interactive wallpaper made for Lively Wallpaper and Wallpaper Engine.

    construct.net/en/free-online-games/alive-35936/play

I upload it to Construct Arcade just to show how it looks.

but if you want to try and test it out as a desktop wallpaper as it was meant to be.

there is an instruction for that.

    1. Download Alive.zip

    2. Install Lively Wallpaper or Wallpaper Engine Lively Wallpaper

    3. Drag Alive(*).zip directly into Lively Wallpaper App

    4. Enjoy!

You can access Alive's setting menu by interacting with The Engineer (The dude with the wrench)

Alive is getting a lot of new stuff and updates from now on. so to keep it Alive I'd love to hear your feedback and support!

    more update at @Newlee_ck

    Thank you!

  • First of all - never use "Trigger once" with multiple instances!

Also, your events 2 and 3 are running on every tick, creating lots of delayed wait-threads, which is also bad.

Instead of "Wait 0.1" try Timer behavior. Start a timer, in "Square On Timer" event decide which action to do next. And in the same event either restart the idle animation, or begin the eating sequence.

    .

    Wow!, this is beautiful!

I'll apply this and will let you know.

    Thank you!

  • I want each instance to have its own duration for "idle" animation and then it will have 2 choices to choose from "idle" or "eat".

    1. if it chooses to do "idle" it will do the same loop,

    2. if it chooses to do "eat" it will run the eat sequences action,

and when it's done it will choose again.

This is working as I expected if it only has 1 instance

But if there are multiple instances,

it will instantly become a disaster.

This is what I expected each one to do

This is what multiple instances do

    This is an Eventsheet

    Thank you

  • Give your family the Timer behavior and try this:

If you want the time to change also, just reset it in the "size" event.

Thank you! this does do what I want,

however, is there a way to be done without Behavior?

I just want to learn more about "For Each".

    Thanks a lot.

  • Does this work the way you want?

Thank you, but this does not what I want.

it just = "picks every Square" > wait for 5-15 secs > and pick 1 Square > resize.

I want it to be = "Each Square" > wait for 5-15 secs > and resize itself.

  • I want each "Square" in the "Square Family" to

    1. have their own random duration between 5 to 15 seconds and then.

    2. scaling itself to a random size between 1-5,

and then repeating again from step 1.

    This is an event sheet.

and this is what I get.

It doesn't look like at least 5 second minimum for each Square.

I play the game, love the art, gameplay, performance, Love it!

Question 3: What is the full-screen mode you use? Is this game suitable for all screen sizes and ratios? If so, how did you do it?

    Thanks
