  • Does anyone know if Awesomium works on Linux and Mac too?

    awesomium.com

"API is available for C++ and .NET on Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux."

  • I sent them an email yesterday also, but still no response. I'll report back if I hear anything.

So, have any of you downloaded it?

  • Very cool, congratulations Ashley!

  • This is so f*cking awesome. Thank you for sharing!

If this is as good as it looks, I'm never using illustrator again. So cool.

Have you guys downloaded this? Damn certificates are out of date; I hate to be cowardly but I've downloaded bugged software before..

  • Sounds like a bug, but we need a .capx to be sure.

  • Go to the classic forum, it's below C2's. Searching the forum there should get you a quick response.

Visual Studio 2012 Express, which includes the appropriate components of the Windows SDK.

I think download SDK is not needed if you already installed Visual Studio 2012.

Blasphemy! :)   yeah I suspect you're right, thanks for the correction!

  • Get VS2012 for win8 HERE.

And HERE is the windows 8 SDK.

Both are free (well, VS2012 express is, but that is more than enough).

    Hope this helps!

  • Since we are on topic of the image editor... will it ever have the option to pick the "invisible" color for a sprite-sheet? It would make life so much easier when you have 1000's of sprites.

The invisible portion is called an alpha channel, and the image editor already supports this. If you create a blank sprite for example, it begins at a 256 by 256 alpha channel, and retains that unless you fill it all.

Likewise, if you set the red, blue, green, and alpha settings on the left side of the editor to 0 each, you have alpha as your "color".

    Hope this helps!

  • DAZ 3D

I feel like I robbed a bank last night while installing DAZ Studio Pro, Bryce Pro, and Hexagon. They just kept giving me more free software!

Anyways, this is software for 3D content creation, from modeling to terrain and texturing. Seemingly pretty comprehensive. And they are giving it all away totally FREE, so I recommend picking it up if you think you'll ever use it.

Also, make sure to access your access to DAZ Studio 4.5 Pro, which will give you an account on the website with 4 extra copies of the software to install anytime, anywhere. This means even if the software starts selling at $800 again, you won't have to worry about losing your copy.

Anyways, hope this is useful for someone!

  • I like the tracks, nice job. I think "In the Forest" is my favorite. Keep up the good work!

Here's another track that I think is awesome that you might like:

  • That looks really great, I'd really like to learn more about it. I've begun reading the website, but I can only understand so much with my limited server/js knowledge. Could someone elaborate on it?
