  • Hi there,

after the Problems i had with my Android-Devices & C2 (it wouldn't work) and also my Apple Devices & C2 - i think it will be the Time now to Clarify if i can export my Games to the upcoming Windows 8 Devices or PC's..

First: What can i Export to Windows 8 (Exe Files as Apps?)

And...what must i additional have to do that?

  • All three options (export to Android, iOS and Windows 8) should be working relatively straightforwardly without having to make changes. Can you describe in more detail what went wrong with the other platforms?

  • You need Visual Studio 2012 after you exported win 8 app from C2. When you open .sln in visual studio, it converts a WinRT application and ready to publish on windows store but you need to pay a fee.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Get VS2012 for win8 HERE.

And HERE is the windows 8 SDK.

Both are free (well, VS2012 express is, but that is more than enough).

    Hope this helps!

Visual Studio 2012 Express, which includes the appropriate components of the Windows SDK.

I think download SDK is not needed if you already installed Visual Studio 2012.

Blasphemy! :)   yeah I suspect you're right, thanks for the correction!

  • Also make sure to do not minify the js before to export, otherwise you will get compilation error.

  • Hi there,

hmm...confusing....i have found this Video-Tutorial - and here you can see you should not use the Express-Version...

    Take a Look at yourself:

Oh - before i forget - in the Video in Time "4:56" you can see and hear what the Video-Maker says!
