  • It's very hard to distinguish what you are trying to ask.. Do you mean how to check if the player is on the floor? or double jump?

  • I always draft out ideas on pen and paper, I let my imagination go wild, and then I circle the good ones.

    For puzzle games, I'll create a "difficult area/thing" and then base my level around that sort of difficult thing. Something like a trap in my head.

    EDIT: Refreshed it and it worked, the game is pretty cool, I mean I really love the graphics, but you could add some effects when you fire or hit things with your cannon ball!

  • Just create a Global Variable called Ammo.

    In your shooting event, check if Ammo is > 0.

    If Ammo is greater than zero, than you still have ammo, so carry out the shooting event and also reduce the variable Ammo by 1.

    Basically just using the drag and drop property, and for rotation, I create this rotation sprite and make it set it's angle to face the position of the Mouse/Touch X & Y. Then I set the Bamboo's rotation to this as well.

    What Ashley means is that Scirra has to keep the License appealing to potential customers by having license edition exclusive features like the Family feature. If they didn't restrict this, what would they restrict to still be able to appeal people to buy the full version?

  • You have to set the origin point for each frame.. You know that?

  • I just want to mention that my game which was running on my old iPhone 4 as 1-2fps got a huge jump to 3-35 fps with CocoonJS <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
