  • See those dotted lines? That is your Window area, or Camera view. It starts in the upper left corner (0,0) and grows down and to the right the size of your window.

    Hopefully that makes sense?

  • There is no point in just making a CAPX for you. If you are serious about making games, you need to learn the game engine. As you go through the beginner tutorials, you will learn how to make a game like this. Take the time to just learn C2. Don't be in such a hurry to build your game until you can understand how it works so you can add to it and fix bugs later.

  • Construct 2 is a designed to make HTML5 games. In order to create mobile games for iOS you need to use a wrapper. CocoonJS is one, Ejecta is another. Gamecenter works on both of them.

Both will take some time to learn, and you will need a mac, apple development account, and iOS device in order to publish to the itunes app store.

  • Yeah, I'm having a really hard time figuring out the problem you are describing.

Is your origin point in the center of the image? Is that causing issues?

There is a free program called JING that will allow you to easily take screen shots and quick videos and post them online to share. Maybe if we could get a better understanding it might help.

  • I chose several and send out PMs. I'm sorry I couldn't include everyone right now.

    Thanks again.

  • Yeah, same with me , I just make the setting in Mopub.

I do however refresh fullscreen screen ads in C2.

  • Or put in a fake loading screen.

So on your title screen when you click START or PLAY, go to a layout that is a loading layout that waits a certain amount of time (showing a progress bar or something) then to your game. This would give ample load time for ads.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • So I'm looking for about 3 people to help me "Beta" test this course. You will get all the videos and any course material for free. I'm looking for people that have been around C2 for a while and would consider themselves at least an intermediate level C2 game designer.

What I am asking for in return is to watch my videos and give any feedback on parts that might be confusing, or additional information you feel should be added.

You should also be an active facebook user as I will make a group for discussions.

Your english level should be very high as communication is going to be a big part of this process.

I currently have 5 videos done, and I will be working on more tonight.

I am going to be pretty selective on who I ask to beta test the videos, so don't be offended if I don't choose you. Getting a good 3-5 people will be key to making the videos work well for everyone in the future.

    PM Me if interested.

    Thanks!

  • You really should be debugging your apps in Eclipse if it's for Droid and Xcode for iOS.

What you will most likely find is there just isn't an available ad at the time you called it. Fill rates are not 100 percent, so there will be many times that there is just no ad available.

  • Yes,

I will be showing in app purchases. Updating apps wasn't on the list since it's basically the same process as submitting a new app, but I added it to the list to cover it.

  • Mostly it's done with the CocoonJS plugin that comes with C2. I'll also be showing Ejecta when it comes to iOS stuff.

  • Did they ever work?
