  • Ahh thought it'd be something simple. Thanks for your help.

  • Hello!

Making a game based around sound control. Each level is in its own layout. The first level works great but, after loading in to the next layout (level two). I am getting nothing from the microphone. Do you have to request access to the microphone every-time you go to a different layout?

    Thanks,

    Ollie.

  • I'm pretty new to the Nintendo forum. Not been able to find it. I'll have to dig deeper. Thanks haha

  • I was wondering if it would be possible to get a Wii U area on the forum? Only Wii U developers would be allowed to access this area and you would have to contact Ashley on the Wii U forums before you gain access here on scirra.com?

  • Seems interesting and may make publishing to mobile easier?

"You can run your Chrome app on a device or emulator using the command-line or an IDE, and you can also use the Chrome Apps Developer Tool to run your app on an Android device without the need to install the mobile platforms SDK or an IDE.

For those who dont know, Chrome packaged apps are written in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, but launch outside the browser, work offline by default, and access certain APIs not available to Web apps. For these mobile apps, developers have access to Cordova APIs as well as many of the core Chrome API."

  • Needed some creative release that wasn't my main project.

As a result I made this:

    Colour Shift

It requires a game pad to play so make sure you plug one in!

    Do enjoy.

  • Thanks for all the feedback.

I am taking all the suggestions on board. If people could do me a favor and really critic the game. Be as harsh as you like because I need to know all the good and bad things about it :) Thanks

  • Hey man,

Thanks for your feedback. I will make the later levels a tad easier. That's the problem with pacing. The more you test the game, the better you get at the game. So you start making adjustments to the earlier levels thinking they are too easy. When really it's just your better at the game and know the levels.

  • Hey man,

Thanks very much. Everything in the game is mine, except the music <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Not a bad idea. I could have a little message pop up "saying upgrades, next level" etc.

How did you find the difficulty and did you manage to finish all nine of the levels? Oh and did you come come across any bugs? Haha, so many questions!

    Thank you!

  • Been working on a small game for the past month now. I am pretty close to finishing the game with placeholder graphics so, I thought I would share :)

    Mole's Holes

First near finished project I have done so, I am pretty hyped that I have come this far! I am going to enter in to the Newgrounds competition when it's all complete and I redo all the artwork. It's been designed for touch screen but, works fine with just your mouse. Oh also, there is no level ten so, that's not a bug, just haven't made it yet.

Hope you enjoy! All constructive criticism is welcome!

If you get any lag, try running it in full-screen with F11.

  • No worries. I have just seen the latest update (r124).

"the new Persist behavior allows you to make persistent layouts. Normally if you leave a layout then return to it, all its objects have reverted to the initial state as you designed in the editor. Sometimes this is annoying if you want, say, the player to return to a previous level but with all the enemies they killed and powerups they collected still gone. Now you can simply add the Persist behavior to objects you'd like to remember - in this case, the enemies and powerups. Then on returning to the layout, all those objects are exactly as you left them. This is great for non-linear games where you want the player to come through a previous section, but without having to re-do everything they did before."

    Thank you Scirra!
