    Score attack game.

    "Z" is to insert coin and fire, direction arrows to move.

    Hit enemies, avoid projectiles.

    However, if your hit; take out both with your shield for extra points.

    Collect gold statues for huge points and fill your faith meter.

    IF you reach the end, your score is multiplied by your faith lvl.

    Made over one week by Dylan Barry 2013 .

    you now have 2 minutes to collect as many gems as you can. It seems harder than it is, theres always a way out

  • ive found a pretty cool effect , create 3 bullets microseconds apart and make them different speeds (asending 50,70,90 for instance) .Then as the later bullets overtake the earlier ones gives a cool whip effect :) my latest little trick.

  • Thanks, i just completed it with a score of 4200 :D just takes a bit of mouse control and restraint, people try to rush around too quick. Time to design another backdrop (goonies style cave)

    i should make it known the hit box for the ship is the hull not the masts ect, thanks for the comment :) working on it , great to see your game, have some healthy competition now.

  • You can get the same effect without the warmup time by just positioning the tiledBg's in you layout and setting their speed. Then replace all your events with one every tick event:

    set x to self.x%50-50

    Change the 50s to whatever the texture width is.

    Ive been doing this, but i find that the width/height of the texture doesnt work, just some obscure number i have to take a long time guessing (im sure its related somehow, any idea?)

    Here for instance. im doing it with height instead of width and the only number that works seemlessly is 130, which doesnt seem to have anything to do with the height. ?
