  • No need to worry. I'm sure they'll get it sorted. Just send them an email at...

    supportnfg@scirra.com

Don't forget to include all relevant information, such as your username, the PP email you used, and the asset that you purchased. Unfortunately, it's the weekend so you might not get a reply until Monday.

  • Any assets you purchase on the Scirra store will be located here...

    scirra.com/store/downloads

Alternatively, look in the left-hand column of the store to see a link that says "Your Downloads".

  • It was first mentioned when beta 206 was released. In 2nd paragraph.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I see the problem.

In event sheet 1, you've got "Set InputText to TextInput.Text" on start of layout. That won't work because nothing has been input yet.

It needs to be moved to the button on clicked event, just above the go to Layout 2.

In event sheet 2, you have "Set text to TextInput.Text" which is also incorrect. You need to set text to the global, which is InputText.

  • Not a clue. We can't open the Construct 3 editor to see YOUR project. It doesn't work that way.

Save your project and share it like you did in the other thread that you're quoting me from.

  • As can be read in the stickied topic "Where to post website issues and suggestions":

    > A github tracker, similar to the one for Construct 3 has been opened.

    > Please report bugs directly there and not in this forum anymore.

    Just an observation...

Tom responds to this topic within a few hours, yet the "preferred" bug report on github that I filled out 3 days ago goes unanswered. github.com/Scirra/Construct.net-website-bugs/issues/150

  • Your palette window is too small. Grab the bottom of it (thick grey line just above the orange square) and drag it down. ;)

  • It's common to use the Scale Outer setting when adapting to multiple screen ratios.

For more info on handling multiple screen sizes, take a look at...

  • Hey. That's very generous of you. My primary focus is on mobile apps, but thanks for the offer. I'd be happy to help out in any way I can. ;)

I did follow you on Twitter, btw. Always glad to meet other indie devs.

  • No, you don't need C3 for this to work. It works with C2.

After exporting to NW.js, choose which export folder you want to have. (either win32 or win64)

Zip the contents of that exported folder and make sure the zipfile has ".nwjs.zip" at the end of the name.

    That's it. ;)

  • Hi there, tinyBigGAMES. I just tested your program and it works nicely. I do have some minor suggestions...

    • Allow user to resize the window so they don't have to scroll when filling out the version info.
    • Allow user to choose a location for the repackaged file.
    • Allow user to disable splash screen if they choose. I saw that you added a small "loading" graphic if one wasn't selected.
    • Allow user to choose how many seconds the splash screen displays.

Otherwise, very nice job. Much easier to use than other solutions and doesn't add the bloat. (only 4mb was added to my 85mb test file) Do you plan to make this a paid product?

Oh, and for the cautious (paranoid) like me, it's safe. Here's the VirusTotal.
