It is interesting to play on different devices. I've played games on my Samsung Tab 4. Can't remember if they worked on the Wii U game tablet but they probably did.

I just tried clicking "Ok" instead of pressing Enter, seems to do the same thing. On my laptop it seems to take longer to export and opens up more of the command windows. I would guess this started happening mid 2014 but I can't be certain of the exact version number. Minify Script is ticked and I picked "HTML5 Website" as the export option.

Problem Description

When a project is exported, several (at least 15) black windows appear (command line style) and disappear within a few seconds. While it exports fine and is playable, it is a bit awkward as I cannot use the screen as normal when this is happening as I might accidently click on one of the windows.

Steps to Reproduce Bug

Happens each time a capx project is exported

Observed Result

Command line windows appear

Expected Result

It should silently create the CAPX file 20 seconds later without popping anything up on the screen.

Steam is great when it works but sadly these problems do surface every now and again. If Steam want to be taken seriously they need some kind of returns policy. Doesn't matter whether you buy something digitally or as a physical copy, you should have a right to return it if it doesn't work as intended. Their one-to-one customer support is a joke.

It would be good to know a bit more information such as resolution requirements and what control methods to use

There is definitely something wrong with the way Construct 2 launches on Steam. I have tried it many times and it fails to launch or crashes during use.

I've also been having problems getting it to work consistently on Steam. It will either fail to launch or will crash (on windows 7).

Apparently it doesn't work anymore. It's very irritating as I cannot use dropbox and there aren't many alternative solutions.

Just tried the stable release on Steam today and it works fine now.

That's something I don't really understand. If something is missing, then why is the user not prompted to download something?

In my case it either crashes or doesn't launch at all. In some software it automatically does that installation as part of the first launch process.

It's also strange how the free version works fine stand-alone but this one doesn't. I thought they were fundamentally the exact same program.

Update: Reinstalling Scirra on Steam after selecting the "beta release" option appears to solve the problem and now I can run it as normal.

Update 2: Now it seems broken again and keeps crashing.
