  • Hi community,

I have been trying to figure this for an hour with no progress, hopefully an array WIZ can help.

    Problem:

If an AJAX post is a JSON encoded array, how does one split or use the data/values individually for this array through C2?

For example; What if i wanted to only display the second value or "ORANGE" only?

    Files:

Here is the URL to view how C2 displays the JSON encoded array:

    LINK

Here is the PHP that C2 loads:

    PHP LINK

And here is the .CAPX file to manipulate. (These are only two simple events that post the data through AJAX)

    .CAPX

Thank you in advanced for the help!

  • Sounds cool, where can i check this example?

  • Thank you guys for keeping us informed. Can't wait...

  • Any help?

  • Yes, the published title (not necessarily a "AAA" game) is a requirement that has to be met during the application process and the DEV kit is a requirement. They are working with Devs on a one by one basis to facilitate the cost of the dev kit.

  • Hey guys,

Wanted to ask the community for suggestions on what is the best/cleanest way to turn audio ON/OFF between multiple layouts. My game currently has 10 layouts with an audio pop up setting within each layout. I would like to have the option to turn audio ON/OFF without resetting to its default state when i transfer between layouts.

I would be grateful for a sample .CAPX that i can build upon and post once i completed. I looked through the forums but was not able to find this specific set-up. Thanks in advanced...

  • Great news, i have been waiting for this since the original announcement!

  • Can C2 get any better? Amazing work guys, can't wait....

  • maex900, that sounds like a simpler solution!.

When you can, would you be able to provide a breakdown of how you achieved the request through JS or the .CAPX,

I will credit you on this.

  • Hi community, in need of your assistance.

    CONCEPT:

I am working on a series of educational games geared for children of various ages, each game contains multiple spritesheets that contain problems sets with various degree of difficulty. There will be an age selection window in the home page of the site before redirecting the user to any of the games. In practice, i would like for each game to change in difficulty based on the age group selected by the user.

    PROBLEM:

If the age selection screen is hosted on a separate page/site, what would be the proper way to communicate with the hosted C2 game or how can i trigger an event from outside the game in order to change the difficulty level or in this case the spritesheet?

If anybody can provide a solution or a simple example .CAPX, i would highly appreciate the assistance and let the community know.

    Thank you in advance...
