  • Renegade, the logic behind it is, make a conditional checking a variable, if the variable is not active, then, check the timer, after 30 sec, spawn, if the variable is active, it'll not happen.

    Where the magic happen? ^^

    You didn't setup the speeds to 0, so, where is the magic to stop the player when he touch the wall? O.O

    Pin the player in another sprite, and the another sprite without any behavior, will stick the player with the sprite?

  • I was trying to make him slip the wall, and this was done, good or not, in one legit way, hehe

    Anyway, it's not polished as instead. Take a look:

    So, what's the problem? I'm trying to stuck the character right after he touch the wall, and to make it I set all his "plataform" variables, such max speed, etc, to 0 and the deceleration to 10000. To release the pose, I changed it back to the original values and jumped.

    So, as you saw in the sample, it's not working as desired =

    He keep moving for some microseconds after touching the wall. And when he release his pose, is like a shot, he jump far and faster than the necessary.

    Today I'll work on it to try make it flawless and make a smooth movement.

    But if you know a simple way to make it, please, share =P

  • I like the logic behind the codes very much =D

    And figuring out some conditions, I think the best way to achieve them is using these conditionals: OR, IF, ELSEIF, ELSE, WHILE.

    Browsing today, one of the forum topics (Branch) did a workaround for some of them, but, I would like know if it's something I'm missing or they aren't in the events to be selected and used as well?

    If they aren't used in the standard, I believe the best thing is avoid workarounds and keep my logics to make the same things =]

    About the OR, that's something I mean is automatic, because if one of the conditions is not meat, the software will go to the next, the problem is when you want test one first and them the next one ^^

  • A little sample of a guy who never programmed in his life.

    After trying to make games with RPG Maker, Indie Game Maker and Game Maker, I saw the limitation of each one.

    Looking for a tool where you can make logic without the the worry of programming, I found EGM, MMF, Stencyl and much other.

    But, definitely the best one is C2.

    Please, leave this feature for the future, a far future. I prefer to see more features like new exporting plugins and behavior from now.
