  • R0J0hound Thanks for sharing, could you give some pointers on how to go about multiple instances? I used a family containing multiple objects however I noticed all of the instance JSON records into the same X axis, so i was thinking specifying the ID according to the Y index and then set the JSON into that X axis but with the push method i don't know how to make it work...

    Been up all night trying to wrap my head around it but it either doesn't work or the objects retrieve the wrong data like...man its all over the place Lol.

    Would appreciate any help on how to set & get family instance data from array.

  • Construct 3 now has an "Alpha clamp" effect built-in.

    Thanks Ashley, I tested the Alpha Clamp in both C2 and C3 even tho I can produce the same effect with it, the results act a bit different than those of Alpha Threshold, settings such as smoothness and the more noticeable "flat colors" parameter.

    Alpha Clamp would definitely be a fallback option, however if Animmaniac could update the Alpha Threshold to C3 that would save a lot of recreation time, myself my whole project is build around the effect.

    Its been about 9 months since, have you had some time to convert this shader for C3 yet?

    I'm working on a game which is based on this effect, currently developing on C2 but will be switching over and exporting it through C3.

    Would be great to know if its still on your to do list, be much appreciated. Thank you for the C2 version btw, its an awesome effect.

    I see, thanks. On another note, it seems that this "Q3D" is abandoned, can't find a working download link. I found one called "babylon" or something which also seems to be dead/abandoned.

    The creator of the babylon plugin got banned.

    The Q3D creator seems to be still active, if the following link still doesn't help you get the plugin, try contacting the developer.

    Hi, the current version was only intend to be a stationary shooter, a movable pseudo version may be developed in the future.

    Hi, you may use the game for commercial purposes only after you change the artwork, no credits are necessary then.

    Hi Kenthria, it was created around NodeWebkit (NW.js), when running on NW.js it has an event code to save the image to PC, it does not have a feature implemented to upload tho, that could be achieved by using the "File Chooser" object if needed to bring back the saved image...hope it helps
