As for voice over. The crappy part of that stuff is that Voice Actors aren't compensated for their voice unless you switch to Replica Studios and that just got really expensive, especially now that they made a deal with SAG-AFTRA.
So, there are ethical concerns to be kept in mind when using AI tools. That is why we don't do Voiceover yet as it's expensive, but we also want to compensate people fairly for it. There is just a certain something missing when you take the human element out.
I know I watched the YouTube videos quite a bit. Definitely interesting use case also asking ChatGPT about Construct code / how to put stuff together, for the better or the worse. In the end you luckily still had the C3 community to help with the optimization issues.
As for Concept Art, we did the same thing and then still scraped tons of examples from Pinterest, lol. Just to give the actual artist a better idea of what we are looking for in our project. We never would have the budget for a concept artist as we are self-funded by just me at the moment - so no potential jobs were lost
While this article looks like passion and grit is driving it. In reality as Mike made clear in his YouTube series, it is AI. He used it extensively to make models (ai concept at the very least), etc. to save a lot of cost from artists.
I don't support those outside of concept if you don't have budget to fund concept artists, we had to do the same for our project.
But it's weird that, that part is completely missing here as Generative AI is definitely key in making this game if you look at Mike's YouTube for a couple mins.
Seems like since December it supports 0.71.0 now. Any update for your SteamDeck stuff?
I haven't looked in here forever. Apologies for never replying! I looked at my code and... I'm not quite sure.
The REST API endpoint was already existing within WooCommerce and is accessible via key & code. If that wasn't in the URL it would just kickback as authentication failed.
And I don't know what CORS is.
