  • Hello!

    I have seen some matching topics here that tackle the same problem, but the solution there or at least how it's communicated is difficult to understand for me as math is really not my thing.

    I use the physics engine with the actual ship and a simulated ship to draw the predicted path. For the simulated ship, I loop an impulse to calculate the velocity at the current position, just to teleport it afterwards to the correct predicted position. I need impulses as there is no time in a loop passing, but force needs time.

    This works actually quite well, as long as the real ship has zero velocity. In the video, you can see that the first drawn path is the correct prediction for the ship.

    Before every calculation, I reset the position and velocity to start fresh, but once the actual ship is in motion, it appears that velocity isn't counted in correctly. That's why I added an initial impulse in the 4th event, as it made the first predicted path very correct.

  • With the interstitial advert I don't need it to be not shown immediately. So show can be true.

    Do you mean reloading as in triggering "create interstitial advert" again? Because this is the event triggered by the button tap in my setup. Maybe I'm not getting why this setup would work.

    Isn't it the same?

  • I have Banner and Interstitial Adverts in my game.

    The bottom Banner only shows when the full screen menu is opened.

    Right now I create it not shown on game start, show it when the menu opens and hide it when the menu closes.

    I test it by exporting it to iOS and it works once, but won't become visible the second time when I open the menu. I'm never leaving layout btw.

    Similar with the Interstitial Advert. I use it like a "tip button" so you can watch an ad to support me.

    Upon tapping the button the advert gets created (shown: true). This works when testing once and I see the test advert. But after closing the ad, nothing happens when pushing the button again.

    Are those limitations of the test mode? I have no frequency capping in my Admob settings.

    this is mostly to get Mikal attention. :)

    I really love the god ray plugin. I just wish I could control the blend mode of the rays.

    I'm using it on an entire layer and by default the entire layer gets added on top of the other layers.

    That makes sense for most cases as we're simulating light, but I'd love to have the outcome of the god ray calculation as opaque streaks in the corresponding color that fade out in opacity.

    That way they're more versatile and I could blend them in different ways with what's behind them.

    Is that even possible? Just asking, as I have no idea how to make an addon ^^

    I'm wondering if my wording is wrong, but what I'm looking for is having the iOS game, while in the background, being able to send notifications to the user.

    Best case would be on the event sheet something like : every hour > send notification "Hi"

    Everything I find is about FCM, which I'm not sure if it's what I'm looking for or if it works, or the Construct Master Collection, which is quite an investment and I can't find any reviews about it.

    Does anybody have experience with setting up iOS Notifications?

    Any help is very appreciated. :)
