  • I think I dragged an object from Explorer onto the Layout, realized it was a sprite-strip, so deleted it. It removes the object from the Objects window, but leaves it in the Project pane. Is that what you mean?

    I've just noticed my problematic Breakout test has a missing object also :/

    It's HERE just in case.

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • That looks mighty fine. Looking forward to a demo :)

  • Try THIS . It works for me :)

    I just ignored your error, removed a spawner object that I couldn't find and re-saved it.

  • The link you've provided can only be accessed by you. You need to select the 'public' link.

  • Got the same bug using the same procedure. See below:

    ---------------------------

    Construct 2 Check failure

    ---------------------------

    Check failure! This is probably a bug:

    Calling Next() on last token of stream

    Condition: cur + 1 != end

    File: Projects\ExpParse.cpp

    Line: 115

    Function: enum TokType __thiscall ExpressionParser::Next(void) const

    Build: release 56 (32-bit) checked

    Component: Construct 2 IDE

    (Last Win32 error: 0)

    You are using a 'checked' release of Construct 2, intended for testing, which causes certain errors to be reported this way. Hit Ctrl+C to copy this messagebox - it's useful information for the developers, so please include it with any bug reports! Click 'Abort' to quit (unsaved data will be lost!),'Retry' to turn off messages for this session and continue, or 'Ignore' to continue normally.

  • I've just tried your .cap and it worked fine. What exactly is the problem? BTW, remember to remove the 'tick' from scripting, if you're not using it.

  • :)

    Doh!

  • This is from VS:

    Also noticed this slight screen corruption - don't know if it's relevant:

    <img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34306693/corrupt.png" border="0" />

  • I don't get it. Crashes every time for me, as shown below:

  • Hi

    Trying to make a quick 'Breakout' type game as a test, and C2 crashes every time I do the following:

    Open THIS file in C2, use CTRL+Wheel to zoom in to paddle/ball area and align ball with top of paddle. Whilst the ball is still selected, click the 'Save' icon. This causes my Visual Studio JIT debugger to pop up every time.

    Any chance of some kind soul trying this out for me?

    Regards

    zen

  • Out of interest, what's the lowest FPS for the Space Blaster game? At times, it drops to around 11 or 12 FPS when screen is busy for me.
