I can confirm that the R64 beta does report as R64.

I thought I'd try and help out by beta testing this release, even though R64 is OK for me, and got the following crash when closing, straight after saving:

32 bit build and no problem saving - and no crashes yet.

Just for now, why not Google for free sprites and use those to get the hang of this software. At least that way you can start to try and learn the program without worrying unnecessarily.

Considering how litigious society is in general these days, is it really worth the risk?

Have you seen the lighting.capx example that comes with C2? Yo could amend this so that the mouselight(see example) is initially set to 'invisible' and on click, make it 'visible'. When you let go of the left click, set it to invisible. It then behaves just like switching on a small light.

Is THIS what you mean?

FF 70.01 here also. I wonder why it's so slow on FF? Most other C2 games are fine.
