  • You have access to all objects, global only brings its current state to the next layout.

    So yes you can paste objects, and no objects that are not global will not change when edited in another layout. To test this make two layouts, add mouse& keyboard to one, then go to the other, and do the same, the second should say mouse& keyboard2, that means its not an instance, but another object. Then you can try just pasting....

  • Id say you'd want a setting for min, and max, as well as starting increment, you know up, or down.

    The question is are you going to make it like sine, so that it can work as a wave, or will it just be one cycle?

    Also are you just going to do size, or do you want to include angle, opacity, x, and y, etc?

  • Smooth man, nice and smooth.

  • You forgot _____ of destiny

    Sorry Cande, I had to.

  • You might remember Aeal made a variable object way back, perhaps you could get him to a a min/ max to that?

  • I think he means something like a family. Example for the family "door", I might want door_is open, door_is closed, door_is opening, door_is closing. Then if the state is door_is closed the whole family would be negated.

  • Actually Im getting some weird results as well.

    + System: Start of layout

    -> Sprite: Set distort map size to 3, 3

    -> Sprite: Set relative displacement at (3, 0) to XYZ(0, 0, 0) UV(50, 0) 100 %

    -> Sprite: Set relative displacement at (3, 3) to XYZ(0, 0, 0) UV(50, 50) 100 %

    -> Sprite: Set relative displacement at (0, 3) to XYZ(0, 0, 0) UV(0, 50) 100 %

    Dunno, perhaps something has changed.

  • You can also do some cropping with a distort map by setting the U, and V to 50.

  • Well, the cut-scenes I'm talking about are something like in Avatar: The Game, where the character tells you what is the next mission, or what is happening.

    Well do you really need something as extravagant as an animation to do that?

    My answer would probably depend on how big the project is.

  • Well you mentioned changing the sine behavior to have a z axis setting, why not add a deactivate for a percentage of the sine?

    You would probably need to add something where it would ask to continue the sine, or restart it on activation.
