  • There's tons of examples to follow in the Examples on the Start Page, including one about Speech Synthesis. They work as great practical companions to the manual. Have you tried those?

    I will look, but links in the manual to these examples would be great. My issue is with the actual manuals lacking.... causing me to have to search around for my answer outside of the manual. Kind of like buying some furniture, opening the manual where the only step is "1. Build it" then I have to go out to the furniture website, find their forum, and then ask the community for help. ☺

  • Every time I try to learn in the Construct "manual" I never find an example... The manual kind of says read the manual, or says do this command to get your answer. Some of us learn by images and examples guys.. Please include specific screenshots, and examples to get from A-Z The most recent was speech synthesis, I am trying to find out how to select a female voice in the web app, and the manual says run some command to view the list. If I knew how to do that I wouldn't be in the manual looking for an example.. :-D great platform, great community, and sometimes the community says "RTFM" but have otherwise been super helpful. Just some feedback for the people maintaining the "manual" please include more visual examples.

  • Hi, I'm trying to get some json data from a remote web server, into my very basic game. I'm learning here so be gentle please :-) I have this URL/Json data: signawallet.notallmine.net/burst

    i want to grab "guaranteedBalanceNQT":"77386000001" from that json string and just display it in my game and refresh this data every 20 seconds or so.. can someone give me a very specific example assuming i know no programming please? Like where to put said code in Construct (never used it before) and an example code.. Once i have this i can learn and hopefully get other values on my own.. Thanks all for your help!!
