  • Thanks for sharing this, I just downloaded and it has a lot of things I have been unsure on before so I'm looking forward to working with it and see what mysteries unfold.

    > Ok I realize a lot of new members don't know how to implement a hi-score save and most tutorials don't work. So Iam posting the full version of my DK lost levels game that I made for Android here is the Capx. file. I separated the event sheets so my events should be super clear to understand. Any questions just ask but try first before asking.

Hi PixelPower thanks for the positive comments.

Can I ask what device and Android version you are playing on? Also did you notice any bugs at all with the ads not being delivered or anything?

My first priority is to fix bugs that users report, but beyond that ill begin to focus on some basic marketing.

I made a subreddit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ClucklesAdventure/ I thought users could post there if they had bug reports or feedback (non scirra users that is).

I also set up a Twitter account but im yet to post anything with it <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="" title="Rolling Eyes"> Im not a natural self promoter apparently.

Im not going to bother with Facebook. But I will look into getting reviews from bloggers, streamers and any websites (Touch Arcade maybe?).

Iam using the Note 4 and I actually have not encountered the bugs others have. I know from past games I made issues might occur with ADs in different countries which I could not solve. Once your done fixing bugs then focus on marketing and getting feedback.

  • That would be a useful feature but I don't think Ashley will implement it. The reason why is you can make a variable and when the variable is triggered true , it will destroy all the objects in the layer you want. If you want multiple events to trigger all the objects in the layer destroyed, you can make it into a function that way reducing your code.

  • Smooth and solid!! The game is coming out great just wondering can you speed up the player a little, just a fraction? Otherwise this game is addictive and fun.

  • Take it from me the guy is robbing you blind. The reason he wants the source code is because he is planning to sell the source code to another developers on places like

    https://codecanyon.net/category/html5/games

    http://www.marketjs.com/

    https://robowhale.com/

Trust me unless your hard up for cash don't do it. Sell your games on these stores instead.

  • I been real busy but those wanting a tutorial hopefully I will be able to make one within this coming week if there is enough request for 1.

  • I don't know what method you use to store information in local storage but I have an example that stores quickly. Here it is

Try that example and see if its the speed that you like. If you have an questions don't hesitate to ask.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads

OMG, i love you it works. I just need to design my game shop and thank you. By the way, i also use your "Local Storage High score System" and i love it

Great I'am glad that it works for you. Saving is one of the toughest parts of game making so thats why I always look for a way to simplify it.

  • Thats great we need more beatem ups. Its funny because I am working on one right now but with a totally different theme.
