So I don't really know how analytics works. I just knew I needed to track data. Thankfully, this plugin was very easy to set up (the demo was very helpful) but it left me a bit confused, as I couldn't really work out why my web app is not communicating with Google Analytics... (I'm pretty sure it has to do with my settings and none of your business :D) but a little bit of step by step guidance on how to set up Analytics to work 100% with the game, and some other info, like whether the plugin will work in preview and stuff like that, would be 7/5 rating for rookies like myself

Does it work somehow with Android Apps? It was a plugin Google Analytics Wrapper on Construct 2, it worked with Andoid apps. I am trying now to use your plugins, but they are working only on desktop. Is there any way to let them work in APKs?
Hi Scarlet, thanks for your review. For Android exports, you should use the Firebase SDK as explained in the official documentation of GA4; this plugin is only for Google Analytics.

Hi Olympo, GA4 doesn't work in Android. For that purpose, you will always have to integrate with Firebase. Although both analytics services use the same engine, GA won't work on Android apps, that's a Google restriction. For any HTML5 app, this plugin fits perfectly.
I hadn't used GA4 before but with this add-on I had it up and running in no time! Sending events on triggers was very straightforward. Although I had a little trouble getting the right syntax for optional event data in a stringified JSON format. A few examples on the website or in the download would be very helpful, but a little googling did the trick as well.

Thanks a lot for your review! The plugin works with the regular JSON format, to represent quotes " within a string, you add \ before it. "\"hi\"" is translated into "hi". You can refer to the JSON official documentation to solve further doubts:
