    Is it possible in Construct 3?

    e.g. The object is a circle, the user tap on the circle and then draw an "S" shape without lifting his finger. The circle will then move according to the S path drawn.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • Hi all.

    I have 10 instances of buttons. 1 button object.

    I have set Mouse -> Cursor is over Button - Mouse Set Cursor to Hand.

    When i run the game, it is set to a Hand everywhere EXCEPT over the buttons.

    Is this a known bug? And how do i fix it.

    Incidentally, if i invert the action, so Red X Cursor is over Button ... the same thing happens. I get a hand everywhere except when over the buttons as i would expect.

    Doubt it is a bug. Show your Events or .capx.

  • Are you using the latest version (r249)?

    What is the error message?

    I also get an error with your .capx (which uses r245 btw, just in case you may have uploaded an old version by accident).

  • Please read thread, especially the post from totoe 4 posts prior to your post.

  • It used to work, but not really very well, in my experience.

    It generally just converted the GFX and Layout, none of the code.

    The import does appear broken now, but since development has basically stopped on C2 now, I can't really see this being fixed, but I'm not a Scirra employee, so maybe fingers crossed!

    Make sure you check the manual entry for the autosave/backup features here: https://www.scirra.com/manual/61/preferences. If you haven't enabled these, please enable ASAP so you don't experience such a loss again.

    This also gives information on the location of backups and saves, which defaults to the same folder that the original project was located in.

    You don't say what version of C2 you are using. Always ensure you provide as much detail as possible.

    The latest C2 beta has an audio fix for android. Have you tested it in r249?

  • I somehow lost the original files of one of my games, but I do have an exported HTML5 version. I was wondering if it's possible to import the HTML5 game back into Construct 2. Thanks.

    Absolutely not, for quite obvious 'anti piracy' reasons.

  • The newpiskel sprite on the Demo Layout is corrupt, but the project still loaded for me.

    So just add a new frame to the piskel sprite in the Image Editor, add any graphic, then delete the first corrupt frame.

    It all appears to work correctly afterwards.
