This is for Construct Classic, and not Construct 2. CC uses .cap and C2 uses .capx, but they are not interchangeable. Therefore a CC .cap does not and will not work in C2.

Download CC if you wish to use this .cap.

  • A reasonably more efficient thing to do would be to make use of Functions, e.g.

I don't see how you can contend what I said, when I quoted verbatim from the FAQ on their site.

I also never said you couldn't make and sell using the free version.

  • The pathfinding example that comes with C2 has some code to show the path etc. Is that of any use?

  • I didn't notice the RT bit :/

Yea, I agree. MicroS**t just keep shooting themselves in the foot with RT.

  • This TUTORIAL should help you.

I can think of quite a compelling reason for not using Unity - cost.

As it says in the FAQ, the feature set of the free version is not intended for the production of professional games and interactive content. That means you need the Pro license.

    Unity Pro $1,500

    IOS $1,500

    Android $1,500

    Adds up pretty quickly.

  • The only thing that looks recoverable is the assets. Hopefully, you have used the backup options and have a .backup file that can be renamed.

  • What browsers are you testing this on?

Are there any errors showing in the browser error console?

Can you provide a link to the externally hosted files so we can see for ourselves?

  • Check THIS thread, and especially the response from Ashley, to see if this helps you resolve your problem.

  • Thank you very much my ass

Was it really necessary to resurrect a 2 year old post just to be so rude.

  • Haven't you asked this previously? HERE it is.

If you did search, you would have found THIS which may be of some help.

The .c2addon file is just a zip encapsulation.

Unzip with any program, go inside the 'files' folder and just drag the folder to the required location.

Please reassure me that you test out bug reports on other systems and not just on Windows 8 64-bit?

If it is the case that Windows 8 is the only available system then I suggest you alter the system requirements accordingly.

  • I didn't even bother renaming it.

I always use 7zip, and I just right mouse, open with 7zip, then navigated into the files folder and dragged out the 'sirg_fancybox' folder. It definitely works.
