  • Hi all,

I downloaded the trial version of Construct 2 to make a first draft, but I can not get sound when I export to publish it on the server.

I hearing sounds before exporting but then it does not work online: I also tested exporting the model provides with the trial version and its not as works once online.

The problem could come from export ?

    Thank you for your help.

    PS: I searched on forum to find a solution but I found nothing. <img src="smileys/smiley18.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

When I put the files on the server, making sure that the MIME types are sent, I have no sound at all.

  • What browsers are you testing this on?

Are there any errors showing in the browser error console?

Can you provide a link to the externally hosted files so we can see for ourselves?

  • Okayyyy so : when i'm putting my files on other place (public server) all sound are playing ...

To finish, the problem come from with the files and how they are stored in the configuration of our dedicated server : i'm searching in this direction now.

  • Last Message : I did not understand how to handle the problem of MIME type match and I found how to set our server to make it work.

Ultimately provides the first link was good but I did not realize it involved a particular setting of the server (with Plesk).

Everything is ok and I think we will take a full license very quickly.

Thank you again for your help !!
