  • Works ok for me. I just added a striped 'tiledbackground' object on the 'background' layer (for reference) and selected the 'Player' sprite and ticked 'center on me' and it works as expected.

  • I can't open .cap because of needed non-standard plugins ( advanced camera and audiere ) but have you tried ticking 'Unbounded scrolling'?

  • Then it's probable that one of your objects still has the behavior attached to it.

This is a little tricky to determine but if you know what the name of the plugin is/was when you added it (so for instance, when you add a normal sprite object, you may give it the name Herosprite), then you can search the event sheet (in the Event Sheets folder of your project) for any occurrence of the plugin name.

This is only worth doing if you have lots of objects. If your project only has a few objects, then you may as well just check the Properties window of each one to see if the plugin behavior is still attached to any of the.

  • Have you deleted the plugin from the 'Object types' part of the 'Projects' window?

  • My favorite phrase is:

    'I've searched and found nothing'

Yet when I search I find numerous examples that would be appropriate. It's either laziness or incompetence - neither of which is useful when making games.

Best to report them and name and shame.

  • The file you've attached has no visible header structure. It looks like it has either been encrypted by another program or had it's header information deleted somehow.

  • Where are you saving these files? Dropbox, Google/MSoft drive, locally or some other location?

Hardly likely that a normal program like C2 can both corrupt files and alter file associations. When was the last time you did a full AV and Malware scan?

Have you tried a clean re-install of C2?

  • Just split the Event sheet into individual Event sheets that each fulfill a particular mechanic, i.e. movement, level creation, collision, scoring etc.

Then you can construct each level by 'Including' the relevant event sheets.

If you construct your game using separate event sheets, then you only need a new sheet for the level completion calculations.

  • Attract the attention of a mod.

    Kyatric, linkman2004, Arima any chance?

You've posted this in the wrong section?

This is the section of the forum for Construct Classic - the predecessor to Construct 2.

  • After you added the tilemap object, did you then open the tilemap window and select the 'import tmx to this object'?

Arrogant **** - get your facts before posting. This is a rule of the forum. Use search and fimd that mods and Ashley say the same thing. How can people help if users don't follow rules.

  • This is an English forum so could you please post in English, or at least provide an English translation. Cheers.

  • No.

But if you have need to discus requirements, always best to email directly.

    No. Wrong forum section.

This section is for Construct Classic (which uses .cap format), whereas you have posted a .capx that requires Construct 2.
