  CC is still on SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/construct/.

  Editing it won't be so easy, because even though the source for CC is open, Ashley used a propriety piece of software for the UI which will need purchasing.

  It would be nice if it was a different colour, but I'd be reluctant to ask, as I would hate for them to say it's about time to kill off this part of the site.

  There are some very valuable resources in this section, many of which are easily convertible to C2.

  Many of your queries already have answers and examples.

  Maybe it would hep you more if you just downloaded the free version and spent a few weeks making prototypes of the mechanics you are needing. That way, you can get direct assistance when you get stuck or lose your way.

  You will then have a much greater understanding of the pros and cons of C2 and be able to evaluate it's usefulness to you much easier, and all you've lost is a little time.

  If you decide it's not for you, then you've lost nothing and can move on to a different engine.

  In the end, asking lots of questions just gets you subjective answers. You won't learn anything unless you get your hands dirty and just get stuck in.

  You should really post these in the 'How Do I' section as it's obvious you haven't quite grasped the basics of C2 yet.

  You have the wrong event sheet assigned to your menu. You have the 'Level 3 Event Sheet' assigned to your menu instead of the 'Menu Event Sheet'.

  It would probably be best if you post Construct 2 queries in either the 'Construct 2 General' section or the Construct 2 'How Do I' section.
