    You just posted this same request in the - now retired - Construct Classic section but still asked for a .capx. Construct Classic, besides being really old and out of date, doesn't make .capx - only Contruct 2 does.

  • as the title say's, I love C2 that much that I'd like to give it a shout out.

    I'm doing a page on misc software that I really like and I think C2 should be top n center.

    It would be great if I could just copy paste some of the text from the C2 home page to give a 'about' description and add my own promotion blurb underneath.

    to be clear, im not trying to sell C2, just mention that I think it's awesome. I would have loved to do the affiliates program had that started, but I'm sure C2 is doing great on it's own. any advertising is good advertising?

    I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some nice multiplayer tutorials for construct 2?

    For example, I would love to know what are some common ways to handle the architecture of doing things. Matchmaking e.g. use of an Elo system to matchmake players of similar skill/experience, handling things like hosts disconnecting, etc

  • In order for this to be properly investigated, post a simple .capx that highlights the problem and we can then test it on our systems.

    Otherwise, it could just as easily be a mistake in the way you are using the Tilemap object or in your Events somewhere.

    If we can corroborate your findings, then it would be a good idea to post a full bug report for Ashley to investigate.

  • I would like to know, firstly if the NW.js module for Construct2 is integrated into the actual application or a separate application within the software? Secondly, I have a question about NW.js use and where I can find in depth documentation on it's use.

    Any help in answering these two questions would be appreciated.

    NWjs is a separate installation needed when you want to create a standalone executable. The latest version can always be found HERE.

    The main external site for NWjs is HERE.

    The manual entry covers NWjs quite well, IMO.

  • It is always preferable in such a case to post a very simple .capx, along with the problem sound.

    That way, it is much easier to determine whether the fault lies in C2, the sound or the Events.

    Randomly guessing what the issue could be doesn't really benefit anyone.
