    I'll make a Forum for my friends join in, and teaching some children to use C2 now in my weekends, maybe doing by this way I can see good games on soon. About link for the Communities, Our language is not set there, and we are away of it because Portuguese is not an universal language like english, chinese, etc. and in rare ocasions We have support, but the good site is what will happen, a new community made by good friends.

    I'm having issues with OnMoved and OnStopped.

    My game don't need them, because I want use transitional animations between walking, running, stopping, etc, but after the release where it was implemented, my game stopped to work properly, and now, when I start to walk, it don't change the animation, same for stopping, where I have a animation between walking and standing.

    Them problem is improved when it was reproduced for all my other poses, they are:

    * Running;

    * Being jumping;

    * Jumping;

    * Falling;

    * Reaching the ground;

    * Double Jumping;

    * Bending down;

    * Standing bending;

    * Bending up;

    * Crawling;

    * Sliding the wall;

    * Sliding the ground;

    * Climbing an edge;

    All of them stopped to work after the patch, because the old method "player is moving" and "(invert) player is moving".

    I'm not an expert in coding, but this is not being simple, but been more complicated than I can handle.

    By the way, I'll make 3 new objects, each one with a pack of poses, one when the player being bending, one for standing and walking in normal way, another for jumping, etc, unfortunately, because it's not the way I did before, where my code was extremely organized, with many smart options to change things easy, not it'll be shared with many objects and pinned, hidden, etc... =(

    I would like to suggest the tree of animation when selection an animation on the "Game Events" tab.

    I missed it in C2, and when doing samples to learn more about the real potential of C2, I spend many time doing sprite name lists to consult while doing the different poses of my players.

    A sample is my actual project, where the player have at least 40 exclusive poses, each one organized with his own names. Sometimes I change some of its poses or simple split them into 2 or 3 new, like the jumping pose, being jump, jumping, falling and landing.

    So, in the "Game Events" I need to record each name to place in the "change animation" space. I think a animation tree there will help me don't make stupid mistakes, preventing misspelling, etc, what can be very difficult to detect when you're a newbie, making you get bored and angry, giving up really fast in these occasions.

    and selecting the best of them to show is part of the process, I know, your TV show many type of Testimonials and I hate them all too, so, to make it clear, I'm not talking about that type of TV adds.. =]

  • I take 35 sec to update when out for 2 min.

  • The forum, the gmail and the demonstration game, browsing in hidden (anonymous).

    Trying to reproduce it again, I left the game page for 2 min, and when returned, it take a while to update the frame rate for more than 1fps, but the game works perfectly.

    After playing the demo, here: scirra.com/demos/ghost-shooter/default.aspx

    and turning off the tab to test that "pause" feature, I returned and noticed the FPS = 1 while playing the game, the graphic was working perfectly, no lag, etc, but the real frame rate was not updated after returning back to the game tab.

    Also, I was out of the tab for more than 30 seconds.

    Windows 7

    Core 2 Duo, 4gb ram, hd 7200 rpm sata 2

    Chrome: update 15.0.874.120 m

    I said that vector solution is not working with my code, all the solution suggested here was tried before I post, so, I simple give up, double jump is not my main objective now.

    To be clear, I didn't see a single sample file using double jump and the falling settings. They are all using only the jumping setting, that's nice, but after the R64/65 where was implemented that platform triggers (on jump, on land, etc) broken my code and my conditionals for double jump stop to work.

    Maybe later I do a completely new code for it.

    Thanks everybody for the time spend trying it, I appreciated your help.

    I'll come here back only when I solve this issue, in one month +/-.

  • I give up, that way I commented, using the vector Y is not working =

    Maybe because of the falling setups, it will change the character to another sprite animations...

    I'll do it later, better give up now and cool my brain a little bit.

    I believe this may be caused by the "ground" necessity or something like this.

    Also, I tried to use "setting vector Y" to go up, changing the jump strength, and other tries not worked =

    Any sample to help me?

  • that's exactly what I said when I did him double jump, and not work, because (I think) it need a ground to make the jump pose happen.
