[quote:3huooq3v]Looks nice and clean, love the smooth animations.

I'm taking a wild guess that this is a game based on the Cube movie?

If so, that would be cool... but we all know how to solve the game if you watch the movie! xD

yeah I know and decide to change the gameplay from logic/adventure game, to space shooter lol

But you are right, if story of the game will follow along with the movie there's no point for playing it if you watched the movie already...

I decide to finish game elements first (traps in progress ) and then think about story and proper gameplay.

ps. i've allways wanted to do traditional point and click adventure game - maybe one day cube will transform... if i found someone to draw characters with animations heh

  • Same thing with other windows/panels, they don't want to stay in their position - especially when i have double screen setup and i have almost all windows on second screen to get more space on work area - i usually need to rearange all windows every time i startup construct, bot thats not a big deal. The most annoing thing is Object bar, dosen't matter where you put it, it always loads docked to the left

  • unfortunetly i had to stop my work on that help file

school, work and family is killing my right now.

If someone want to continue that just pm me and i'll explain everything.

It's not very difficult... it's not difficult at all but very, very - seriously - very time consuming (copy/paste everything from wiki and forum to chm and than sort it all out is hell).

  • Thenks orcheliya.

But it's gonna be hard to finish it

There's a CHM file I start writing few months ago but unfortunettly school/work not helping with finishing it.

If someone wanna help with that manual just pm me.

  • It's not bad, but not that great either...

    ...the story was extremely clever.

can't agree with that. I't wasnt extremely clever but extremely confusing to understand.

and i like to know when the game finish, to see "The End" or "Game Over".

After Epiloge i was like wtf? is it finish? or i have to go through all the levels again to see if i miss something...but it's only my opinion.

  • Future Wars is one of the best old school adventure games ever....no more to say.

  • There is an AVI object.

on insert new object window scroll down to the "Other" category.

  • how exactly does it work?

I have a sprite 64x64 pixels with hotspot set to bottom, when loading file 128x128 to that sprite it always shift it down few pixels.

    and my questions are:

    • on what position of current sprite image file loads into?
    • is there a way to remove loaded file/change it to previous one?
    • could imageg be loaded to sprite from resources?
    • what about animations, via private variables?

(if pv = 1 load file 1.jpg, if pv = 2 load file 2.jpg..., and the run them one by one every X time?)

I'm asking becouse my current project requires loads off graphic files and I just don't want to put them inside one *.exe file in the end, so thinking logicly would be better to have external folder with all file and then just load them to the game when they are needed.

oo btw. i noticed that 32x32 sprite with only few lines inside uses more VRAM than 128x128 image files loaded to that sprite...is that normal?

    thanks

  • 1. set animation to "die" will not work becouse you don't have "die" animation for your Jorginho.

    2. i cannot run your game...Temp.exe error shows up.

  • ok..which evant sheet?

    "Mudar de layout"?

i'm not good at your language

  • try

    set animation to "die"

set animation frame to 1 - > to reset animation

  • Is that a dragonball?

    nice work
