• Oh, so you are finally adding this to Construct 2. This will be a killer feature, especially once Awesonium improves the FPS.

• If I could vote for more than one thing, I would choose "More event sheet features" and "Better monetisation options". I voted for the event sheet features because this is more important to me at the moment.

• I heard about Awesonium. This looks really interesting.

I gave it a quick test. It works fine for me, but the framerate is not as smooth as on Google Chrome (I have a 64 bit Windows 7 laptop). Nonetheless, it looks promising.

• Happy Birthday! :D

I still remember the first public release of Construct 2. "Storing" variables in object positions (there was no actual variable support yet) was pretty fun.

• First, the HTML5 exporter.

Then, physics. Especially joints. They open lots of amazing possibilities.

Finally, short descriptions of events, actions, and action parameters. A small but really useful feature.

Needless to say, Construct 2 is a great application as a whole. I can't wait for more great features. And yes, a Scirra's tweet led me to this thread.

• Had the same problem - solution here.

Hey, thanks! I'll keep that in mind. Anyway, this topic is not about bugs. I created it to show how Construct 2 games would look on the iOS. I will upload an updated video soon.

EDIT: here's the updated video:

• Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
• I created a simple platform game to see how it would behave on my 1st generation iPod touch. It works somewhat buggy, but is playable on iOS devices (also, I tested it on my Android phone and it works pretty similarly).

Here's a video:

EDIT: apparently, the Release 57 fixed the collision bug. However, the "Simulate pressing Jump" action seems to be bugged - it only works once, both for keyboard and touch input (normal jumping by pressing Shift works correctly).

• My vote goes towards the drawing tools in the image editor, but I agree that some features are more important. A complete image editor would be nice, though.

• Just sent a response. Hopefully this is cleared up now!

Yes, the fixed license file you sent works correctly. Thank you very much. And congratulations for gaining another satisfied customer.

• Sorry for the trouble, my mailbox filled up! I've cleared it out now, if you resend your mail it should receive correctly.

Okay, I think the e-mail went through this time. Thank you.

• Each time I attempt to send an e-mail I receive this:

ould not deliver message to the following recipient(s):

Failed Recipient: ashlrx@scirra.com

Reason: The mailbox is full

[...]

The license file comes unzipped. Construct 2 can find it, but it can't load it for some reason.

• I tried sending an e-mail to licensehelp@scirra.com, but their mailbox is apparently full, so I will post here instead.

I just purchased Construct 2, but it won't load my license file. Instead, it displays the following message:

license file for Construct 2 was found, but there was an error

loading it. Construct 2 has reverted to Free edition.

This can occur if the file is damaged, corrupted or otherwise modified

in any way. If you have a backup of your license file, try restoring

it. Otherwise, please contact licensehelpxwb@scirra.com and we'll try to

sort you out as quickly as we can.

I'm using the latest release of Construct 2 and I didn't make any changes in my license file. Any help?

• Create System > Go to layout action and type LayoutNumber as a parameter for a layout number to go to. This should restart the current layout.

Yes, "restart layout" action would be great. How come it's not implemented yet?
