Could you add drag & drop feature for Event sheets in the Project Bar? It'd be nice to have it for the whole Project Bar, not just layouts, to keep the stuff in order.

  • 70%??

    On mobile I hope!

How much big is your png map?

Yes, on a cell and only on an old one. Good is, it still manages to do over 50fps. That png is 400x400, but it has to do more with the game still running in the background while the png is displayed than with the size.

  • My game is already taking 70% CPU power, I'm trying to cut down on everything so I thought it might've helped a bit, thanks for your responses.

  • I have a gameover screen with 3 buttons - replay, highscores, back. The screen is one big png, so in fact there are no buttons, it's just one picture.

Can I capture where on the sprite the user touched (something like in this html example, but with touch control)?

Is there any impact on performance creating 3 transparent sprites over those button areas or is there a workaround which could be done with just events?

  • Sprite > set angle > unlerp(Sprite.Angle, 0, 0.05 * dt * 60)

That doesn't work. In the example the brick falls to the angle 90. When I use unlerp it does nothing. How can I accelerate it to the angle 90?

  • I have this action

    Sprite > set angle > lerp(Sprite.Angle, 0, 0.05 * dt * 60)[/code:vzzk5gtg]
which basically decelerate angle of the sprite towards 0. How to make it work the other way, so the sprite angle would slowly accelerate?
  • Performance

On a scale of 1 to 10 how fun do you believe it is

Is it too hard or too easy for you?

    What would you improve?

    Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T110

    • Little bit laggy, my guess is around 40fps. It wasn't problem...well I thought it wasn't..(more on that in the next device summary)
    • 6 - my record is 20pts, about 30 tries. Than I got frustrated and quit. Maybe I would quit earlier if it wasn't for testing.
    • It's hard.
    • For me it was too hard, but I'm new to portable devices and touch controls.

    Samsung i9300 Galaxy S III

    • Good, smooth.
    • 8 - record is 55pts, again around 30 tries, but this time I didn't feel frustrated and enjoyed it more.
    • Easier then on the previous device, because controls reacted as they should an there were less mistakes.
    • I think it's good as it is.

    GIGABYTE GSmart Guru G1

    • Bit laggy, same as with the tablet.
    • 6 - 19pts, 10 tries.
    • Last device tested so easier then on the tablet, but still harder because of small lags.
    • Performance.

    About the lags

If I've never tried it on the S3 cell phone, I'd happily play the game on other devices and would't care. Those lags are minuscule and the devices aren't new either (GSmart should be most powerful of those three devices. Don't know where was the problem. Maybe because Android v4.2...).

    edit>

Is it typo ("Unlock new bals") on the third screenshot?

  • I cannot recommend to buy an apple device. I did so, I bought an iphone 4. With the enforced iOS updates, you cannot run *anything* on these older devices, so you start a buy-the-next-device circle.

Aaah, pity I read it too late. I bought an iPhone 4 few days ago....

Eventually, I got 4 different cell phones and a S3 tablet. I like preview on LAN feature, but all C2 templates are laggy, on all devices. Is it normal? Those templates are all very simple, yet none of my mobile devices hits 60fps. (50fps max)

  • [quote:87adm95n]Thak you Noga the sheep rider! I like your Easter 4 Girls game, it can be a good strategy game, it inspired me!

. I want to do a remake for this Easter.

  • This is great, love the animation on the goat. Thank you and wish you the same, be happy!

  • Starred...making the mascot happy.

  • I own only one BlackBerry phone. Do I need an Android device and an iOS device to test my games? But what to choose, what type? iPhone 4 or 5? iPad 1 or 2 or Android tablet or phone, but which?

If you had the money just to buy 2 devices, what would you choose?

Do you use cloud testing solutions like Sauce Labs? Is it worth it? Do you know any better/cheaper?

  • Hello, I had a long break from C2, had some other stuff to do. Still all that time I've been lurking around and hopefully I'll get back to C2 soon again. I miss it.

Anyway, I'd need a little help from you. Could you help me upvote/solve <font color="lime" green="">this</font> question? Thank you

  • This looks great! Watching the video gives me goose bumps <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle"> I want to play it!

  • I just spent 1h playing it, great game! Matching games are one of my favourite genres, but I think the scoring "bug" also kept me playing. It felt bit addicting to cumulate as many jewels on screen as possible and than smash tham at once, BAM! 550 million was my highest, still not good enough when I see newt's score. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
