  • megatronx You're right. The issue only appears on the second screen.

but it's still a problem don't you think ? If you want to sell a game, you shouldn't have to say :"Hey player! By the way! Don't play my game on your second screen!".

Not really. Notice you can only play many games on screen number one. I had 560 and all aaa games i could only play on that screen.

  • Nice artstyle.

  • I finally found the origin of the issue.

After a few tests, it seems it only appears in fullscreen (with or without the browser tabs (F11)) in chrome.

But if I use the window mode and scale it manually to the max size of my screen, there is not fps drop.

Then I unplugged my second screen (I have 2 monitors)

No more fps drops! Everything just works fine, in fullscreen or not.

So it seems that Chrome doesn't like fullscreen HTML5 applications with dual monitor!

Does anyone heard of that problem ? Is there a trick to fix this bug ?

Nah, It might be that you have been running it on your second screen. I had the same issue and if i remember correctly displaying the game full screen on the main screen worked fine ( but will doublecheck ^^ )

  • *NEW 3DS* will have better cpu and will support HTML5. That's all that came out, but maybe we'll be able to get some c2 apps on it!

  • My test was involving only 4 sprites with sin movement. That's it and no Platform behavior. And the exported "game" would start freezing around 20 mins in. Before that I had a normal prototype that would freeze from time to time in same fashion ( and if i remember correctly it was even in preview ), I ignored it, because I thought it might have been my fault. But it kept freezing so I just left that prototype and started new project. That was a year or two years ago. Now the test with 4 sprites was done several months ago.

  • Yeah, I brake them up to in to smaller pieces, and if some event's are connected between multiple sheets I'm just adding comment with the sheets names.

  • Could we just get behavior that would take care of it please?

  • Good streaks to all!

  • I'd like to know too.

  • I was crossing my fingers really hard until now, reading all the topics related to the NodeWebkit freezes.

    ... and, here I am too : /

I just exported my build for PAX, and the game is totally unplayable. It freezes like every 15 seconds, and freezes are at last 2 or 3 seconds long.

I don't know what to do. I tried the replace the nodewebkit files with old ones, as adviced in other topics. But the game crashes at launch.

I really have to find something in the next 2 days... any idea?

The game is running at a rock solid 60fps in chrome, Freezes seem only related to NW.

( Sorry to use alerts, but I think I have to for this time: rogerwang, Ashley )

Use chrome for in full screen pax. I don't have any other ideas.

  • Hello everyone,

I'd like to inquire about an issue that I have experienced in regards to the Gamepad plugin as of late.

I cannot exactly recall when this started to be an issue, but at least a few C2-builds ago.

As of now, when running either a preview or an export of a game (I've tried different ones), my wireless xbox 360 controllers only work if they're connected before I even run a game. To clarify, before this issue surfaced, I could run a game without having any gamepad connected, connect one or several gamepads and press any button for them to work, however, now I cannot...

    Has anyone else experienced this?

Edit: And right after writing this it seems to work in chrome once again, but not with node-webkit.

Haven't checked but my only issue with 360 wired pad is that i need to press any button first in order for sticks to work.
