  • Ashley already mention that he's gonna work on a P2P system(TCP/UDP) for Construct 2, so hopefully by next year we can see multiplayer in our games.

EDIT: Just noticed this was Construct Classic section. My bad, ignore the comment above.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Nice!! I'm gonna give this a try tonight.

  • Attempting to re-create an old favorite from the ground up... Street Fighter III: Third Strike.. Please note that this project is only a side-project to my other projects, but I'm hoping Ashley will get that P2P support out for C2 by early next year to test this as an online fighting demo..

  • Windows 8/8.1 Internet Explorer 10/11 doesn't play .ogg format, so you still need to make a .m4a copy of your music/sounds for it to work.

  • If taking a game I already made and spending an hour on it to make it work on the OUYA, the rest is pure profit. Even if it's a a few hundred to a few thousand bucks

I wouldn't spend my time to make a game exclusive for the ouya though.

Which is why I changed my mind about making an Ouya exclusive after learning about the horrible sales.

However, I just may port my Galaxy Aggression game over to Ouya now, just need to buy the console now from Gamestop lol..

We all know that Ouya is bad when it comes to game sales, popularity, etc. We are just excited finally able to get our games on a TV. This is the first step, before Scirra allows us to deploy our games to Wii U, Xbox One, and maybe PS4.

  • What he was trying to say was Ludei haven't updated the CocoonJS Construct 2 plugin for us to use Ouya controllers yet.

  • It's about damn time.. Lol.. I think I was one of the people here on the forums giving the most noise about it lol.

ArcadEd - Where were you when I made a thread that Ludei replied to me on Twitter about supporting about two weeks ago?

EDIT: NVM that post.. I didn't read everyone's replies thoroughly, I'm pretty excited about the Ouya controller support even though it's a failure lmao.

So everything is good now? Usually, if you redo everything, it goes through.

I wanna know what this Windows 8 game is so, I can download it when it's approved :)

  • Joannesalfa

To be honest, Windows 8 certification process is a pain in the ass...

Did you run the built-in Wack (Windows App Certification Kit) after creating an app package? It will tell you what's the problem and what ways to correct the problem.

  • Hello guys..

I just wanted to update and inform you guys that Galaxy Aggression is now on the Windows Store for Windows 8 PCs and tablets. Currently, the leaderboards and in-App purchases don't work because I still have clay.io in debug mode and I forgot to code a part to actually save the score after Game Over.. (silly me), but I will be submitting an update fix for that tomorrow, so hopefully it will be live tomorrow night or day after depending on how long Microsoft takes to approve the update.

  • Lol, my app has passed certification after that..

  • thehen , ArcadEd

Well, I just resubmitted just now with only USA and Canada selected until I can figure out a proper way of getting certificates for those other places. Thanks for your reply.

I find it really crazy that Microsoft is strict with this.

  • For people like thehen , Ashley, How do you hell do you cope with the aggravation of making a GDF file for the ratings certificate?

I've uncheck the countries like Korea and South Africa, so I could publish, but do I still need to prove a proper rating certificate for those countries? Please help. Really tired of failing certification because of this.

  • alextro: This is great! I had plans to start my own Collapse type game in the future after I finish Alien Crusader, but this will be a good framework to start with. Thank you.
