  • Hey Amil, having problems with the buttons in both IE9 (why do I still use it?) and Chrome.

    Unless there are some rules not explained the buttons are pretty unresponsive most of the time.

    Its the first game ive tried with the car movement, its a pretty fun mechanic. Being able to turn on the spot would be nice.

    Those machine gun noises are a bit ear peircing at the moment. I Like the after effects of the tank. Nicely done.

    Id like to see you use more creative stage layouts, but i definately think that you should carry on with this.

    (I know its just a begginer stage you would probably do that anyway, i just feel compelled to give you my honest opinion).

    Ok so i played it again - this time in both chrome and IE9. (Interestingly enough it was a better experience on IE9)

    I got stuck on the same part - the 180 flip, the reason i got stuck is because I entered the bottom section from the left hand side instead of the right (I have instinctively done this 3 times in a row) - Once in the floor keeps me left into the corner (because of the platform push).

    I understand its part of the difficulty - perhaps a retry stage button is needed?

    this sir, looks amazing. if you end up doing half of what you intend, this will open up incredible paths for more game types.

  • Wow Cesisco, the choice and use of the music is phenomenal. Good original concept. (I played it in IE9 and everything seemed to be runnign perfectly).

    Once is started playing - you had me. Really fun.

    Im not sure what stage it was however, - the one where you are first introduced to the 180 flip technique. The floor is making you travel left while she (the girl) is on the right. I got stuck on the left hand side and couldnt do anything - i didnt really want to start from the beggining again.

    I think you could take this to the next level with better graphics, but its very fun i must say.

    I like the start (the animation with the broken pod is cool)

    Unfortunately i couldnt get far because the sticky keys thing (pressing shift 5 times) kept messing the game up for me. It just became unresponsive after i cancelled it.

  • Nice update. Great how it automatically makes another stage now - keeps the flow. Much more satisfying when you make a shot as well.

    I like the ui effects when you go into the water or sand. Classy :)

    I also like the jumps - its a cool mechanic, but i feel at the moment the player has no incentive to really use them (as the best strategy is to avoid all objects and terrain by shooting high every time).

    One way you could remedy this is to add some extra sounds (perhaps an applause if a player makes a shot with the assistance of a jump).

    I also think an appluse would be good if a player hits the shot first try (and maybe a cool popup that made you feel special - haha).

    Just out of curiosity - have you tried implementing the "hold button for power" and shoot on release? Not that what you have isnt already fun - because it is :)

  • I think I understand - set your "call function" and "recieve response" in C2, then tailor your runtime.js file to coincide with these actions.

    I definately agree that while it might be more convenient for the inexperienced coder (like myself) to hard code things in, your taking a better approach.

    There will be plenty of "how do I's" following the release of your plugin - but personally I wouldnt attempt to utilise this without knowing full well that a lot of independant digging would be required.

    The fact that your also providing some of those links as well shows that you are really going over and above. (My expectations at least!)

  • What some people can do in a couple of days is astounding :)

    Bummer about the wrapper but this is looking really good. The video update is awesome.

  • Ahh now that you put it that way i can imagine - keeping the sounds fresh will be a challenge. (Im sure your up to it though).

    You could possibly split the map into sections and have different sounds when the player clicked in those different sections.

    Some light background music could be nice as well.

    Really interested to see how you progress in this one.
