    I probably already know the answer to my question.

    on start of layout compare windowsize

    if window size > 16:9 goto layout small

    if window size = 16:9 goto layout normal

    if window size < 16:9 goto layout tablet

    does this work? has anybody tried this? In theory it sounds solid.

    What is your take on creating multiple screen sizes without making 20 of the exact same app?

    and the answer is yes it works. I have not tested on mobile device as of yet.

    The code shown was for demo testing. So setting a

    16:9, as in 1280x720px

    16:10, as in 1680x1050px

    5:3, as in 1280x768px

    3:2, as in 960x640 (This screen ratio is also used on iDevices.)

    4:3, as in 1024x768

    ratio in a mobile app is possible without to much extra effort. Basically clone layout re-size to ratio and leave event sheet the same.

    update 2:

    so this should work with screen orientation also if you have to adjust for landscape/portrait.

    on device landscape/portrait. goto layout or switch between active layers.

  • This is more a publishing issue then a construct 2 related issue.

    I noticed in intel xdk it says publish after build. I am going to pay for the apple dev account just was wondering if any body have published thier games from a pc not a mac.

  • Thanks for all the replies. The event is a rate my app event Just done wish to keep demanding them to rate my app if they already did and set it to appear only are a set time of being installed on their device.

  • Carbincopy I liked the old way to hold and release to control cast.

    When you hold, you go with the fish line/rope (I do not know the correct name in english) until where you want, and when you release the fish line/rope come back in auto reel and could take the fishes (it will be a better animation). I think this kind of game has potential.

    You could put some boots, tyres and garbage and when you take some of them you could take more points for cleaning the ocean. they could stay at the bottom of the screen and do not move.

    another bug, when you catch the fish and cancel with double tap the fish is released free. You could put some kind of boolean variable, when you catch a fish you put it true and can not cancel the action with double tap.

    sounds good will look in to those ideas and issues when I get home from work.

    Edit:) I got some ideas about the adding trash or junk (gonna give it some more thought.)

    I saw the gameplay video. You could put a bonus sign on catch 2, 3 or more fishes in one time..

    all request mods and issues fixed.

    now has tap to cast

    double tap to cancel cast

    scoring with multiplier/tries

    re-added scirra leader board don't know how it got removed.

    fixed on release issue/removed now auto reel in catch.

    I can look in to that if 2 or more collide with boat give bonus. That sound cool.

  • now I get, I was clicking on screen, I have to click and hold the mouse button, sorry.

    cool game.

    the game has a small bug, if you catch a fish and release the mouse button, the fish will stop in that position. I thought when the person catch the fish it will automatically get to the boat.

    Hello, That would be a cool idea to add auto reel when catch a fish.

    I was thinking about adding more scenes like shore fishing, pear fishing, bow fishing and scuba fishing just to add a twist to the game play.

    Yes currently it is just hold down mouse or mobile touch.

    as for the on release fish. Thanks for the information as I had pathfinding org, now just bullet and forgot to at on release bullet enabled.

    Thanks I really appreciate it, As I was was looking for all my .capx files for my older creations and found out when I saved them they where in multi file formate and when I was cleaning my desktop I did not know that and mixed the files of quite a few games making them unload-able.

    if you choose power ball or mega ball there is an alignment issue.

    how would I call 6 numbers and set 6 different text fields for each one.

    also is there away to set numbers small to large just like how the tickets are printed.

  • Ok! I have the details for adding a splash event/pop up/rate my app for android,

    but I only wish this event to run once after set dt = 72hrs and save setting = true / false if user rated app and if not set to run again dt=72, If user clicked rate app save and never request action again the whole time the app is installed.

  • Really hard to say as I put all my How to videos in , But if you google construct 2 and your issue it lists all posts related no matter where it was posted.

    and those who wish to seek out answers just google or youtube search for them. You would be surprised how many videos you can find using google translate then searching for them in other languages.

    The how to section is more of quick answers to common issues and those who are just playing around with ideas.

    To see how others would go about tackling those concepts.
