  • Hey guys,

If you were trying to convert a webm file to an mp4 using Cloudconvert.com 's API, how would you do that? Ajax? Custom plugin?

Looking for offers to do just that. Drop offer details or an email down below, or email me at Justin < at > JustinFmiller <dot> com

Thanks guys and girls, stay safe out there.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Sorry Carter, like my reply mentioned, I was able to figure it out using a few plugins combined

    Thanks for offering your help!

  • I have since solved this problem myself. For a quick run down for other people looking to do the same thing, here's how I did it.

    1. Use canvas to transfer text from text object to a sprite (other wise paster will ruin the text)

    2. Transfer from sprite to paster (Make sure to use some "wait 1 second" between the time you transfer to when you load it to the sprite, then to paster)

    3. Take the screenshot with paster, download it with "invoke download" in the browser object.

  • Hey there!

I have some cash for you :)

I want a plugin or C3 event sheet that I can easily screenshot at high resolutions (Like 1242 x 2688).

    Requirements:

    - Must be high image quality (lossless)

    - Include all objects AND TEXT in the given area.

    - Be easy to change between resolution sizes.

    - Works in C3 (C3 runtime preferred, but not required)

The output download MUST BE the EXACT RESOLUTION.

    Payment: $50, or make offer.

    Thanks

    Justin

PS: I've tried both the canvas (wrong resolution) and paster plugin (text glitches).

But if someone out there knows how to fix it properly, the $50 is yours.

  • Hello all you smart people 😉

I'm looking for polished game templates.

Email or link them here. Include what rights come with them, and what price you're looking to get in compensation.

  • Hey guys :)

I'm looking to turn 1 image into a lot of smaller pieces, based on color.

    Example:

Here's what should happen to this image:

    - Split up tiny polygon based on color.

    - Paste the original image onto each polygon, so that the image is whole, but made up of 40 separate sprites (or drawing surfaces)

Most of the blueberries should be their own little sprite, and the little black spots as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • What exactly are you offering to developers?

A platform? or a job offer?

  • Are you still looking for someone to work with?

  • Thanks 😊 you guys rock!

Thanks for bearing with my ignorance of JavaScript.

  • I'm trying to use APIs in C3, but am having a hard time right now. Trying to get any API to bring something back. (Using fetch or something else)

I was trying to use this: rapidapi.com/matchilling/api/chuck-norris to load in a joke. Then I use

    alert(response.json());

But it just says [object Promise]. (that's what it loads in)

From what I can tell, it didn't have time to go and get it from the API, so it's an unresolved promise. I would love help resolving this error, or some kind of start into fetching from an API if someone smarter than me could show me :)

    Thanks

    Justin

  • If you use what I gave (and add one "if isn't touching object") you should be able to make it work...

  • If I understand what your looking for...

The code will only run on the touch that is touching the yellow bit. (Works on my multi touch screen, so should work on mobile)

This is a simple version, but should work for what you need.
