  • Olive Thank you for the numbers. My game is 76% to the top 100 and has about 51% yes votes. But I guess it all depends on the share amount of yes votes. How many yes votes in total did you need? No exact numbers but are we talking several thousand?

ANyway, when can I buy your game on steam?

  • Doesn't it work to do it like this? Everytime that animation ends for every copy of that sprite 100 gets added to points. By making it a trigger the points will only be added once everytime the trigger is triggered

  • sqiddster Yeah, I guess. But wired controllers works just fine. Worst case scenario I'll put a varning in the game and tell them not to put their controller down If their controller dies they get game over. So then it's a game mechanic

  • This is a way of doing it but it is just a quick demo. You can make it much smoother if you fine tune it a bit <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile"> This way is super simple and without plugins. Took me about 2min.

  • I haven't had any problems with gamepads on my 4 player game except when a wireless gamepad turns off or is out of battery. Then you can't reconnect it in any way and have to restart the game for it to be found again. I've searched and asked on the forum but no solution

It is quite a gamebreaker because if you're idle and don't use the controllers for some time they usually turns off to save battery and then you have to restart everything. And this is a real hazzle when it's a multiplayer game without a save function.

  • Usually you make your own hitboxes and attach them to the player where you want them to be. The collision polygon is just a simple quickfix for simple models.

So you can have one for the head and one for the torso and so on. Not that complicated really

  • I got the warning yesterday and the other mail today. But the last email ended up in my spam folder for some reason. But if you check the other thread you can see that others got the last email as well

  • Nice, congratulations! Are you ready to publish?

May I ask how long it took and how many yes votes you needed to get greenlit?

Our game is also on greenlight and very close to the top 100 but I hate that you don't have any idea of when you'll be greenlit

    BTW, the game looks amazing

  • Radulepy The problem was the OpenSLL on crosswalk 7 and all other crosswalk versions had bad performance which made it impossible to switch. I also got the warnings from google but they now emailed me and said that they wont take down the apps made with cw7.

So I guess that it is solved now. But if you want to republish it with another crosswalk version you can because it seems like they finally found a solution for the bad performance on the later crosswalk versions and you should be able to export the game with good performance again even if you are using crosswalk 10+

  • Are you using kiosk mode on export? And if you're using an older version of NW then you can use the browser object on your first layout and make the event on start of layout > set full screen

  • Hehe, I don't think they would have had any trouble making it in C2 if they wanted to. It is their sense of design that makes the game good. But they are pretty crazy and as a fellow swede I have to say that their game Norrland is one of the most fucked up games I've seen. And they have alot of fucked up games under their belts <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz">

If you haven't seen that one you can look at it here

As mentioned in the other thread about this. Google just sent out this to us about the OpenSLL and they have dropped the warnings on the CW7 OpenSLL and wont be deleting the apps made in CW7.

I have not made any changes and my games are all made in CW7. So I guess they accepted it now

  • Hmm, I would be nice with a little more info from them. Does this mean we can actually use CW7 now without future issues?

Now I got this from Google. Has anyone else recieved this from them? I haven't changed a thing.

Cipriux It's ok. I rather let my app die in peace and go to Valhalla instead. Never want to look at that mess of a code again hehe

  • Yesterday I was to my surprise contacted by Wall Street Journal about a game I made a while ago. Actually the first game I ever made Kim Jong Run. The journalist wanted to use it as an example in her article. Later that day I got the mail from google about this CW7 issue and that my game will be deleted if I don't update it.

So I thought I would try. I then realized that I had deleted all my construct files on this game and can't do anything with it. I know, big mistake by me xD

So now my game is stuck on CW7 and will finally be put down forever, hehe. So I hope we can find a solution for this because i got crosswalk to run really smooth when I finally found the correct settings and now it just won't work.

The game for those who are curious is this one:
