  • I've noticed that when I make bigger games I usually loose my motivation when the code gets too messy. And then I take a brake and when I come back I have no idea what to do. So now when I'm making games I put alot of effort in making it as tidy as possible by commenting all events and use functions as much as possible.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • shimo Thanks, hopefully people will have fun with it when it's done

VictoryX Totally agree. I have actually updated the skull pop mini game and added a little twist to it

  • Thank you for trying it out. I have a ton of new mini games coming up that I actually think are alot more fun to play

It shouldn't be a problem to reach the platforms as long as you double jump? If I increase the jumping you'll jump too far when double jumping.

Btw, did you guys only try the arena mode or tournament with different mini games?

  • Hello everybody!

This is an early access with multiplayer only and it's missing alot of content and features. So please keep that in mind.

  • Hehe, that is exactly how it is when we play the game x) People go mental when they have to win and someone stops them right before the finish line Thank you for you upvote.

Working on a playable demo now so people can try it out.

  • It's a local multiplayer game. Feels good to have your support Thank you!

Me and my friends play it all the time now and this is the first time I'm making a game that I as a developer really enjoy playing. So hopefully many others will have fun with it as well

  • Wordpress and a theme with a sitebuilder. Can't be easier than that and you can make it look really professional at the same time. Google wordpress suitebuilder and have fun

  • Greenlight update.

After 6 days on Greenlight I can clearly see its shortcomings. As long as your game is on the front page you get hundreds of visitors a day and the yes votes comes pouring in. But as soon as you leave the front page the visitor count goes down to almost nothing.

So from here you have to drive all the traffic in youself which isn't the easiest of tasks. So now my game has 40% yes votes and is 40% to the top 100 and I can't do anything but wait. But my game will at least soon be up on Desura and hopefully 8Bit Fiesta will be in the indie royale bundle as well. Seems promising

  • Microsoft actually recently announced that they will make it possible to submit HTML5 games on their platform soon. So hopefully you'll be able to submit Construct2 games sometime this year. But I suspect that the standards for accepting the submitted games will be high and if this will be your first game it will likely not be accepted

  • I have tried alot of different gamepads for my game and all of them works like a charm so the problem might be your cheap gamepads as you called them. Your game probably works for the majority of the gamepads on the market.

  • Greenlight Update.

After two days on Steam Greenlight 8Bit Fiesta has about 40% yes votes and are about half way to the Greenlight top 100. So I hope it won't slow down too much as we leave the main page. But I guess the traffic will slow down. I'll keep you posted.

  • Does anyone know what is considered a good ratio of yes and no votes on Greenlight? Feels like you have no idea of how your game is doing

  • Finally added the game to steam greenlight!

    Every yes vote is greatly appreciated <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">

  • You can use the bullet behavior with gravity and on collisions with solid set angle of motion to random desired angle.
