    I have heard he doesn't keep those up anymore and I don't want them to break and be stuck with 50 apps that don't work...

    I feel much safer using the official plugin. Except for it doesn't work either...

    I have asked Ashley to fix it so we can release our games into the google play store using the standard plugin.

    I hope it happens soon ...

    The official plugin by Ashley is optimized for HTML5 (Desktop / Web) as far as I know. However you can use it with cordova as well.

    But then you need to add an additional cordova plugin.

    I personally use the "CocoonGooglePlayGames" plugin, which is working fine for me.

    However it just works for CocoonIO.

  • I'm using Intel XDK which is supported (cocoon deprecated), along with the official Construct 2 Google play services plugin...That is the official way to do it sponsored by Scirra and Construct 2...

    I never have used the offifcal Google Play plugin by Scirra. If you use intel xkd I recommend you the plugins by cranberrygame

    CocoonJS is outdated and not available anymore.

    You need to switch to Cocoon.

    There the Play Games Services works fine.

  • Demo link just downloads a index file from a web export, it doesn't work on its own. You can either have it exported as desktop build or better yet hosted on another site such as a arcade.

    Thanks for this one, it makes life much more comfortable!

    Just one thing. Could you please remove the

    console.log(this.charWidthJSON);[/code:dovp9tdh] from the [i]instanceProto.onCreate[/i] function? It really slows down object creation. I have leaderboards with thousands of entries and this one log slows it down by several seconds.
    
    I can remove it myself for my own needs, but it would be good to have it clean in the official version. I presume it's just a remaining of your testings?

    is there a way to add a condition or trigger "Is about to hit/reach target"?

    So maybe if the platformer has reached about 90% of the total way to set this condition true or trigger it?

    The problem is if the player has high speed (and acceleration), it doesn't stop exactly on the target position.

    So if target is x = 480 and the player is fast, he will stop on about 490px.

    With that trigger I can reduce speed before he hits the target.
