  • It does work fine. Just install the "inappbrowser" plugin to your cocoon project.

  • Will I support video rewards?

My English is not good, can only use google translation!

    Hi,

you can use Chartboost for video rewarded ads. This template only uses AdMob.

So it would need customization to show rewarded ads.

  • Thank you for the tutorials!

I want to publish my game on the App Store, but I don't have a Mac. Is there a way to use a Windows PC, or can I use a Mac on a virtual machine?

    I never have tried that.

But it's against the Terms of Use by apple for sure

So better buy a Mac computer.

Hi Andy. You mean to read over the translation to see if its accurate? I could share a link?

Yes Just send me a PM.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Hi Noisefever thanks for the advice.

Ok then. Sounds like I should leave the game title as is, but all text in the game (menus, cutscenes, UI, buttons) should be translated to German.

I have all the text translated already. In some places it will be challenging to get the words to fit in the available space. It seems a short sentence or a few words in English can be a bit longer when translated, especially in French!

I can help you out with german

    Just let me know!

Hey Andy, I have done what you said (without the fill board thing), but it doesn't work...

    Here's the .capx: https://www.dropbox.com/s/upab2qxj9njp3 ... .capx?dl=0

The board is the important part <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink">

I updated your capx example, please find it here.

  • You can do this with rexrainbow "GridMove" behavior. The code for this is very simple.

Just add the "Board" & "SquareTX" plugin to your project.

Add a new sprite "tile" and give it the behavior "Chess".

Add the "GridMove" behavior to your player.

On start -> Fill board with "tile" //tile is a sprite object for your ground.

On touched object "tile" -> Player move to "tile.Chess.LX, tile.Chess.LY"

All plugins and behaviors can be found here.

  • Some preview ?

    +1

  • This is not basically a topic for Concstruct 3, but there also will be a new store coming along with C3. If it doesn't fit here, just move it.

    Suggestions for the new store

I've published many assets to the current store. Those suggestions are my personal opinion.

    • Do not allow anonym ratings without comments
    • Make it possible to select more items for "Sales" at once
    • Show a "recently updated" badge (same like the "Sale" badge) if an item was updated recently
    • Dashboard: Show analytics data like "Overall Sales: 2.323 | PageViews: 235.002 | Downloads: 2.963
    • Add a ranking of top sellers
    • New badges for sellers / customers -> Purchased more than 5 items / Sold more than x items and so on.
    • Allow sellers to submit a "Free file of the month".
    • Allow one time purchases like for selling whole projects. Once it has been bought, it will be removed from the store (similar to the exclusive license but without allowing a regular license)

Codecanyon.net is a very good example for all points above.

    Thanks for your time!

  • I cant seem to install the included plugins for some reason and its kinda hard to tell the actual game template with your file set up

    Hi,

you can use rexrainbow 's Plugin / Behavior installation tool.

    http://c2rexplugins.weebly.com/

Just select "Download / Install all". Make sure you run it as admin.

If you have any issues or questions to the template code, just send me a PM.

    Thanks!

  • Intel XDK is also using a WebView plugin.

So maybe it's a basically issue of WebView.

  • I do not need to buy the arts of the author fikri?

Only if you want to modify it. The png files are included.

I made an agreement with Fikri.

  • Can I post this game on google play?

    Yes feel free to

  • This issue seems to be caused by the WebView + plugin CocoonIO is using.

If you switch to Canvas+ as webview engine it's working fine.

The problem with the tutorial you linked is that it is outdated and does not work.

There is information in the tutorial which does not exist but is required...

If you can find me the: 'Client Secret', I will stand corrected.

Here is the quote from the tutorial entry:

    "Client secret

The client secret for the game from the Google Play Developer Console. This is only necessary when publishing via Cordova (e.g. PhoneGap Build). For more information see the section Setting up Google Play Game Services above."

This is the official manual written by scirra. If you feel it's outdated you must tell Ashley or Tom

However I still recommend you to use Cordova plugin. I own the package and yes, it takes a while till he response, but he will update his plugins.

Moreover I never have had any issue with the Google Play Games plugin so far.

It's worth for giving it a try.
