    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Use the Tilemap (or SpriteFont) plugin

    Observed result:

My onboard GPU Intel G33/G31 causes the tileset (and the SpriteFont plugin) to be displayed incorrectly at runtime:

This is the result when you run it:

    Expected result:

    Correct display at runtime

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes

    Firefox: not tested

    Internet Explorer: yes

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 7 Professional

    Construct 2 version:

r150 (plus previous versions for SpriteFont)

    Here

Made a new project, added a sprite with the water effect. Getting the same error. Tested with and without WebGL and fallback 'destroy'

My GPU is an Intel? G33/G31 and it's up to date

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Ashley As I said in the first post, I have a lame onboard intel gpu, so I expect that those effects won't run.

But then what? Should I just never use effects because some people might not be able to run them?

I'll be sending the capx to the supportlrb@scirra.com because it's already a commercial game

  • Ashley It's just that having effects that your GPU can't run will cause the game to simply not launch. It would be very useful if I could just say "destroy this object if the user can't run the game with these effects"

    This is the object

This is the message I get:

  • Bump

  • Even simpler,

Add this to the shooting event:

bullet.count < 4 (this is a "Compare two values" system event)

Hello everyone! I am here to announce the second edition of the Game Boy Jam.

The GBJAM is a JAM were people will be developing games around the theme of GameBoy. To make this so great the rules are very loose and can be seen over on http://GBJAM.net

We are hoping to get a lot of participants. If you are not a programmer or you are a programmer, but not an artist head over to the forums on the site and go to the team up section where you can list your skills and past projects and than see if someone will decide that they want to team up with you.

This is a community project, and I have really tried to base it around that. The official dates for the JAM is over a 9 day period going from November 1st - November 10th.

  • Yes, there's an action called "Enable/Disable Collision" for objects with physics

  • <- Wearing my ribbon already, thx

  • Fun fact: you can have a different gravatar image for each website using email tags.

For this, go to your Scirra profile and change your email to youremail+scirravjf@host.com.

Example: my email is henriquelazarini@gmail.com, so I changed it to henriquelazarini+scirravjf@gmail.com

(the +scirra is a tag you are adding to your email that wont change how you receive your emails. Any email sent to youremail+scirravjf@host.com will be sent to youremail@host.com)

Now go to gravatar and add this new email adress. PS: you need to confirm both these email changes (they will arrive just like any regular email)

  • Sargas Yeah you're right. But still, I only have 2 Notch badges (forgot to say that before)

  • Hm, my profile says my account is 3 years old, yet this badges page says i'm 79% the way to the 3rd Notch badge

Also I have a Fanatic (visited the site 100 consecutive days), but I'm sure I never got near 100 consecutive days. My profile says I have 165 consecutive days, which is impossible

But this page corrected the false Lightning Draw I had

  • Is the variable type set as text? Like here

  • How are your layers configured? Any of them have a parallax rate less than 100,100? That could be the problem (just a guess)

  • You can make a similar game, but straight-up cloning a game and selling it can get you into some legal issues
