You play as a knight that has to fight evil. This is a demo game to see if people like it. I will keep on updating it as I work on it.
Congratulations on all the work so far. It could be a fun game if you continue working on it!
I love the big backgrounds in particular. It will let you create a very cool world that players will want to explore.
I think it would benefit from having really tight controls. For example:
-Rolls shouldn't be interrupted if you stop pressing the arrow keys
-All movement should be done by arrow keys, all actions with letter keys. So the down arrow should duck, and the D key should interact.
-Remove the "deceleration" sliding that happens when attacking & moving at the same time. Either let the player keep moving while attacking, or stop the movement entirely when attacking.
-Collision boxes should be pixel perfect, so players know exactly what their movements will do (currently you don't fall off edges or collide with walls properly)
Mega Man X is a great reference for this level of precise control.
